3.5 has flaws, but imho it is the smothest and deepest rping game system out there. Easy to alter.
Totally agree! 3.5 is my favorite since 1st Ed.
I didn't like 2nd Ed., but played it for a while and I absolutely detest 4th Ed. There is literally no creativity to 4th Ed. It's a video game with more clean up afterwards.
I may be back yet tonight after I take care of some things at home, but tomorrow morning I'm going to have to ban myself from going online for at least the morning; there's too much I have to get done, and the past hour or so's demonstrated I'll get almost none of it done if I open a window into here.

From the "I Should Know This" file, and something I suppose I should just go search out in the rules or Rules Forum (probably finding it in one of the Beast Boy threads), but it's easier to just ask this group: What are the rules concerning theme team building regarding AEs and other pieces (such as Beast Boy) who transform?
John Jameson has the Avengers keyword, so if I put him on an Avengers team, does it still retain that theme when he transforms into Man-Wolf -- a character who doesn't have that keyword? I can't recall what was said about this with respect to Beast Boy, though it would seem bizarre if his becoming a green bear or dinosaur would suddenly break the Teen Titans theme. This leads me to think that the theme-ness is set with the starting build and doesn't become invalidated by those changes.
In the other direction, we have Bruce Banner, who doesn't have the Avengers keyword, while his alter ego does. So, if I start with Banner I can't build an Avengers team that follows keyword-driven theme team rules..?
Determining theme team bonus happens when you present your team at the beginning of the game. If all figures that start on the map at the beginning of the game have the same key word then they are a theme team (barring unusual rules, like Noh-Varr's trait to give up keywords). Therefore, if you put down a team with a Teen Titans team including an014 Beast Boy it would qualify. If you started with the Cheetah version it would not qualify as the cheetah doesn't have the Team Titans key word. Once the game starts you keep your theme team bonus even if you change your characters via AE mechanics.
Therefore your instincts on Bruce Banner are correct.

Im working on my new Adventure right now. Its awesome.

I think I still prefer 3.5 over Pathfinder, just because I don't have to re-reach all of the people that I taught it to in the first place. I ran a short-lived Pathfinder game in which people's assumptions that the game still worked the same way, compounded by several players' weird insistence to try to break the rules changes for some reason, caused quite a few problems.

I get the feel that pathfinder is a snub at 3.5.. its like THIS is how it should be! feel... maybe im just off.
I have an associate on my facebook friends list. I'm not actually friends with her, but she brings us lots of business so I play nice. She just mentioned on her facebook wall that she loves brown and plans to paint her closet that color.
So I posted this link as a reply to her comment. I wonder if she'll find it as funny as I did.

tpchid is correct, but I have one more thing to add: to use a themed team pc, you have to give the token to a character that has the keyword you used for your theme. So if you have a Teen Titans team, and Beast Boy transforms into a cheetah, you could no longer give him a token to use themed team pc, but you could give the token to Nightwing.

And regarding horror/suspense/thrillers, I'm with Ignatz--they're not mutually exclusive. And since we're on this topic, maybe you guys can help with something that's been really bugging me. There's a move in which the protagonist is a boy whose father and brother believe that they've been chosen by god to kill demons and go around killing people under this belief. And at the end of the movie
Spoiler (Click in box to read)
you find out there really was something to it.
What the heck is the name of this movie?

Beat me to it. What do you do, stalk the Ogre thread just waiting for the off chance one of us asks a rules question? Or just impeccable timing?
