Hmm.. just looking over the deathtrap wording on the figs in the unit section, I'm not sure why a token is needed. Doesn't look like a token or anything is placed on the board. Am I missing something?
There are 542,000 children in foster care. Talk to your local foster and adoptive agency. You could change a life.
The mechanic does not require any counters/tokens, and is simply based on the Nd6 result rolled.

It's required because it would be awesome. Like the moon landing.
I didn't know if he was a rube, a souse, a wiseacre, a hophead, or a bright-boy, but I knew for sure that I didn't like him.

Can you make a tab on the side of the figure holders (like a little slot from the side) to hold heavy and light cardboard objects when the figure has them but not used them yet?
Ah! Something like a "beartrap" placeholder/ID ring, then (similar to the mechanic symbol)?
Even though it isn't necessary to have a ring (since it's an effect that happens off of the board and has a specific place where it happens (the user's card)) it occurs to me that there *IS* a functional use for such a ring.
Since the Elaborate Deathtrap is a Once Per Game effect, then a marker to indicate that it has been used could help cut down on memory issues. If you made a ring with a solid base (similar to the square and round object insert bases) and, on the underside, inscribed something along the lines of, "Trap Used", then it could used both as an indicator of which character were trapped within it AND, after the character escapes, flip it over as a reminder that the once-per-game ability has been used up.

Flat, by definition, is not 3-D.

Well that's only if you don't consider 0 to be a number!
I had this discussion with my 6 yo the other morning. Trying to explain that 0 is and is not a number depending on which set (Natural, Rational, Integer, etc... you are using can be tough for a kid, but then she asked the question.
And I have been kicking an idea for something for you to add as an item in my head. I will PM you after I think about it some more.
