Ah ok. Not as complicated as I thought. That much I knew. Her look during AvX was very Darkchylde inspired. I don't read any current X-titles except X-Factor, but I wanted to see what the hype was all about so I picked up that mini. I was pleasantly surprised to see her back from the dead even though I'm a firm believer in dead means dead. Even Colossus, one of my favorite X-Men of all time, should have stayed dead. While it was poorly executed, his death meant something.

I don't remember much of her death, but I can see where you're coming from. I was just happy to see her at all. If it had been some sort of what if or flashback, I'd have been just as fine with it.

Her death was in Uncanny X-men 303. It was a story that mostly focused on Jubilee, and it was really well written. Colossus' death was great, too. Now we see how much that mattered.

I think I was spotty in reading around the time of 303. Either that or I was too young to really get it. Colossus' death was lackluster, IMO. I think it had true meaning, but it could have been executed much better.

All I can say is she needs more coverage around the boobie area. What's going on now is just silly.

You don't know how men work, do you?

A lot of Indy (meaning not Marvel or DC) character rely on sex appeal alone to draw readers in. They don't have the dedicated reader base who will randomly try new books from their favirote company. So what ends up happening is you get lots of fleshy covers and characters like Vampirella, Witchblade, Lady Death, Angelus, etc. If you thought Birds of Prey was bad, then just walk away from any of these.

Not the best I've seen, but pretty good. I guess it all depends on how far it's shipping.
