Well one thing is for sure, if I ever make an illegal move in which I miss an attack roll, I'm not going to correct the move. I'll just leave those Smurfs for someone else to attack with.

Just seems to me that if you can keep a successfull attack roll for a move correction, then a missing one should be kept as well, no matter who makes the correction. But I will abide by you ruling ALC.

Wakandaman - I didn't care for the decision either. But the way the rules read the move does not occur if it is illegal. I see problems with potential abuse rearing their ugly heads but the alternative is also kind of ugly.

I will be moving to a new apartment Thursday and Friday so hopefully, (cross fingers and knock on wood), the computer will be up and running by Friday evening. So the updated map you are about to get will probably be the last until then.
