This is reminding me of the old joke about the man who goes to the doctor and is diagnosed as having a cold. The doctor tells the man they can't cure it, but advises him to keep his window open and dress lightly. The man says "I'll get pneumonia." The doctor says, "That we can cure."

Alternately, I'm sorry to see that! Will you be able to take the time to get well? This past flu season I saw more people than ever just trudging on day to day, popping over the counter cold meds as what seemed to be one, unbroken cold hung on for weeks and even months because they couldn't take more than a day off to rest.

I kinda like the new Doomsday. He isn't terribly powerful top dial, which I think is appropriate. People point out that he took out the Justice League single handedly (literally), but I really don't think of that as the strongest incarnation of the League, so this seems about right. I missed the DC75 version, so I'm happy to have this one as a rare, one way or the other.

That sucks. I've had it twice. The first time I remember quite well. It was a freezing morning and the car I had at the time wouldn't start if it got too cold. So I spent some time outside (probably too much) trying to get it started and trying to jump it. I went back inside and told my wife that I was feeling bad and she told me to suck it up that it was in my head. After she left for work I still couldn't get my car started and began to feel my chest get really tight. I was in ALOT of pain due to the tightness and I went and layed down in bed and it hurt so bad I thought it was a heart-attack. The thought crossed my mind that I had to get someone to take me to the hospital because I felt like I would die if I didn't. So, I went next door and my mother-in-law drove me to the ER. After a day's worth of tests they figured out what it was and I spent another 3 days in the hospital. Fun times.

Regarding the new Doomsday, he's not bad. I love the sculpt and I LOVE that he's only a Rare. Statwise, I think the best figure we got today was Queen of Fables. I had no interest in her before seeing her dial, but after seeing it, I kinda want to get her. Between her and Super Lucy the Mystical keyword is back!

How can you support it, it is from one of the grate satans - Grant Morrison.

This might be my only real problem with the new Doomsday. Since when is "next to" a game term. Why on earth didn't they use the word adjacent, and will this poor wording lead to any rules-lawyery loophole seeking? I'd bet on it.

Has anyone ordered maps from grid reality before? How long does it usually take for them to come in?

I'd say you could expect delivery within 3-4 days. Steve is usually on the ball with such things.

And I really want to see Amanda Waller pick up a Crimson Gem and get her stats bumped up through the roof with crazy amounts of Perplex and smack somebody with a heavy object.

OH! Well he must be really busy. It's already been 7. I'm patient and there is no big rush on them. I can wait.
