Doctor would be a bold fake claim. I buy it.

Not really. The real doc is unlikely to out themself for fear of becoming a target. It is a role that you never have to reveal information, because you have none and it is a common role, so often believed.

Not saying Quebbs is lying, but I don't think it is all that bold.

Plus everyone freaks about the possibility of eliminating the Doc so they back down. So if the Mafia knows the real Doc is gone... *shrugs*

That's assuming there aren't multiple Doctors or a Nurse or something like that. With six named dead out of 31, I'd call it a bold claim.

Nurses are rarer than little girls who don't lie and multiple Town Docs, scarcer than that (not counting inventors or one-shots and the like).

Well his power claim is different then what I was thinking, something is incredibly strange going on at the moment. I'm willing to go out on a limb with the Psych theory, plus the power claim doesn't make much sense for the character.

I'm a psychiatrist. I'm the aforementioned Carolyn Fern, an investigator from the board game. And I'm Town. If there is a Psychiatrist Mafia (which I doubt), it's made of people solely from DC and not from the boardgame.

I mention this because there's already been mention of me having a 'strange knife' -- Google "arkham horror" "strange knife" and you get Carolyn as the second result. Anyone with half a brain has already figured out who I am -- probably before I subbed in. So it's not like I'm losing a whole lot here.

Still trying to figure if there was just a misunderstanding with gfish as every bit of info on him basically screams out "Nyaralathotep" like a beaten rabbit. I am believing he's Neutral - just figuring he's got an alt-win concerning souls (which he's welcome to achieve) - but want to know if others used the ID mix-up as misdirecting.

I know, but I was refuting one of your reasons for wanting to lynch a claimed Doctor. Personally, I'd rather we -not- lose a Doctor if at all possible.
