Quick Master Mold question:

My venue is running IG Month 5 this week and I know at least one player wants to use Master Mold. We're running the events this week as Modern Age. When using Sentinel Manufacturer, would the Sentinel Troopers be allowed to be brought in? They're from Ultimates, which is Golden Age, but this is a weird case since figures are being brought from outside of the game.

How would you guys rule it?

As long as the format allows Golden Age, then they have the robot keyword and Sentinel is included in their names so they fit Master Mold’s requirements. Sentinel Captain as well if they have the LE.

If it is being run as modern age, then the only things that can be in the game are modern age things.

I thought we'd actually gotten this into the tournament document, but I can't find it at the moment.

It's basically the same as what might happen if GSX shifts into golden age while Hulk remains modern. In a modern age game, Wolverage would not be allowed to revert into the golden age GSX Wolverine.

Wow, totally missed the modern age bit in the OP. My venue does exactly this, no golden age clix allowed in Modern. Period.

The color scheme is the same as last year's shirt, it appears. For that reason alone I'm going to pass on it. I'm not a fan of the wannabe Doom thing on the front of the shirt, either.
