yay, Hilarity gave me a reason for edit my weird double post.
v/r is just a shorthand sign off we use a ton in the military. Stands for very respectfully, and it just gets to be second nature to use it all the time, even when respect is not present.
(Where the hell is the code for turning "d"s backwards?
Good point, Hilarity dear, I prefer Adam and the Ants, though Adam Ant is alright also. To have your own element, or at least an alloy of stuff (what is Adamantium really?) is very cool!
In other musical news, I have a turntable in the house for the first time in years! Very pleased. Wife got me one for my birthday several weeks ago, and I just installed it today. So far it has sounded forth the tales of Monty Python's Contractual Obligation album, Neil Young, and John Anderson (the country guy). I missed my tunes!
Yin/Yang proved to be a ##### though, as my cassette deck refused to wrok correctly when I tried to use for the first time in like 2 years.

It's funny that you posted these things together, as I am certain that if I dig around at my parents' place long enough, I could find the Adam Ant album Strip.
Not his best stuff, but not his worst either.
I prefer the Ants stuff, now. I basically live my life by "throw your safety overboard".
