How many of yinz play other collectible games besides Clix (if you still play Clix)?

Did we really kill this thread for 3 days, or was there some kind of Mod purge? Granted, it was a holiday weekend, but even so, this is a new low for the LPC. And being even lower than normal is very difficult.

I am down to X-Wing and Armada. And Armada is rare, takes bloody forever to play.

What's the price point like on each of those games? How often is new product released? And I'm guessing you don't buy blind in either of those games?

Both are non-blind.

Both cost less than my former clix addiction.


Armada releases are sporadic.

X-Wing has about 3 waves release each year

To expand on Norym's post, for X-Wing:

Each wave is usually no more than 4 ships.

Regular-sized ships run $15 retail (can be pre-ordered for 10 from most places).

Larger ships vary greatly. Something like the Slave One or Millennium Falcon will run $40 but larger than that will go way higher. My group rarely uses the larger ships but they generally come with another ship or upgrade card that makes them worth getting.
