Have a few minutes to spare so I figured I'd get some dialogue in here + the recap I skipped this morning as I was extremely pressed for time.

-ROUND 9 IN PROGRESS-

"Nigma - status report" ordered Joker, sounding uncharacteristially serious.

"Well, Bats is here & he's got company. They've got Crane holed up, Larry & Moe are down & Cobblepot & that other guy are on the run" replied the Riddler.

"Cobblepot & who?!" demanded the man with white skin & a permanent grin. "WHO?!!"

Nigma immediately realized his error. He should never have referred to the other two by name. Nobody really knew or cared what the nameless thugs' real names were but the Joker had christened them as soon as they arrived in Arkham with their liberators. These made-up names were important to the madman & so, they became #### well important to him.

"Cur-, no, err, Shemp?"

The Joker's eyes narrowed, he reached into his jacket & he slowly pulled something out.

"Eddie, old boy. This - is - for - YOU!" & before the Riddler could react the Joker tossed him - A CIGAR! The Riddler breathed a sigh of relief & pocketed the stogie "for later". It looked harmless enough but he knew better where the Joker was concerned. He was just happy he got the name right or who knew what the lunatic would have lobbed his way?

"They're getting away!" yelled Isley. "The brats are off to warn Batsy & friends that he's got ore to worry about than just Cobblepot, Crane, & you, Nigma!" The remaining Titans were seriously wounded & wouldn't get far. Poison Ivy, nevertheless, had bloodlust in her eyes. Was is jealousy over the orange-skinned beauty or her hatered of men embodied by Hawk that made her so?

Riddler mused on this & chimed in: "Then why don't you do..."

Two-Face joined in: "...that voodoo that you do..."

"...SOOOOO WELLLLLLL!!!!!!!" completed the Joker.

Poison Ivy was a man-hater, that was for sure. All the same, the rallying cry of her unbalanced inmates empowered her in some perverse way. She eyed a single red rose on the reception desk behind which she stood and it sprang to freakish life. It grew & thickened, winded its way down the hall & ensnared Hawk, where he fell beside his teammate where she had just fallen herself due to sheer exhaustion.

Lady Shiva didn't like the look of this great, green, thorny throbbing thig beside her & retreated back near the others. She noticed how the strengths of the inmates seemed to fuel each other. It was infectuous. She could tell that Deadshot & Bane were already feeling it & she was starting to feel it, too...

I just whipped it up. Take Bitmap Image, add Googled images of the Ultrahumanite & the Joker & voila, the Ultrajokernite is born!

It is pretty ugly, though. I'll probably lose it before this issue is wrapped up.

"Wow, it looks like Batman has got some kind of serious mad-on for Professor Crane" noted Riddler. "What did the Scarecrow ever do to him?"
