Just shoot Spidey with Barry, and push MODOK to finish Dagger. I'm sure their Super Senses will fail. And while you're at it, might as well push your Vet AIM agent to finish Widow. After that no one will be able to hurt MODOK.

Just get it done.

Spider-man breathed deeply as he pulled free of the containment pod, grateful to be alive. "Thanks," he said to Dagger then looked around, "now who's gonna get spanked for sticking me in there for so long? Don't they know that I need breathing holes?" Spider-man leaped up into the air and used a web-line to yank away a large crate that one of the AIM mooks was using for cover.

The Black Panther lost sight of his prey.. they being known as MODOK. His psychic dampener was useless if it could not be directed accurately. He crawled beneath the truck and scanned the roofline for his position...but MODOK was elsewhere, initiating a dimensional anchor to disrupt Cloak's powers.

Cloak felt all tingly and warm. The coldness was evaporating and he suddenly felt...normal again. He tried to teleport, but it wasn't working. What was going on with these funky powers? He hadn't had them long enough to get it. He walked over the the fire escape and started to climb down.

Spider-man looked around for someone to hit and his Spider-sense started to tingle. Something wierd was going on in his head. He spotted a guy dressed in black hiding under the truck, and somehow knew that he was one of the bad guys. "Wait!" Moon Knight said, but he was too late. Spider-man flung his crate at the guy, knocking him out cold.

Spider-man shook his head. Something wasn't right. That guy that he just whumped was ... "The Black PANTHER!" Moon Knight was yelling at him. "He's one of the Avengers!"

"Huh?" Spider-man confused, but he was getting the sinking impression that he'd just been played. He spotted MODOK hovering on the rooftop and leapt up there, ripping out an air conditioner to smack him with.

"My what a big head you have Grandma.." Spider-man muttered as he strode towards it, but then a woman with a huge wrench stepped in his path.

"MODOK is my repsonsibility" She said. "You want him, you'll have to get by me."

"No problem, bee-keeper lady." Spider-man said, and slammed the air conditioner into her, knocking her out. "Now..where was I?"

Meanwhile Dagger was peeved. They'd recued Spider-man...so why weren't they leaving? Typical boys...think they have to kick some butt to get revenge or something. She angrily ran out and threw her energy daggers at some of the wierd guys in the yellow suits.

Cloak could feel the coldness enveloping him again, and he burned with vegeance. Somehow he sensed that it was the giant head that was responsible. He folded into the fabric and appeared beside it on the roof ready to tear it to shreds.

"Switching to secondary protection measures......wait.....low probability of success.....option 45 recommended." The villian stuttered.

"...option 45?" Cloak repeated, momentarily confused before being blasted with pure brilliant energy. It ripped through him, and he suddenly felt very weak. It was all he could manage to teleport over towards Dagger.

Dagger was mad it him for hurting Cloak. Using all the energy she could muster, she flung a swarm of energy daggers at MODOK. They simply passed through him, and the creature roared with laughter. Suddenly, a backlash of psychic energy ripped towards Dagger and she screamed at the pain.

Moon Knight crept closer to the action, staying hidden behind the truck. "This does not bode well..."

Just one move.

1) Barry(8 +1 from M.O.D.O.K.'s Hydra TA) will target Spidey(13 wSS), roll................4,5 for 9. SS roll.........3. Spidey takes 2 and is KO'ed.

Story Post:

Black Cat quickly leaped up on top of the building, and grabbed Spider-man's unconscious body. "I've got you honey. Now you owe me one."

The big floating head didn't seem to care, but instead turned it's attention to Moon Knight, who was throwing crescent darts at his assistant Barry. He floated down to meet him.

"Yikes!" Moon Knight said, and ran around the other side of the truck. That big head was really scary up close.

Black Widow grabbed Dagger and quickly scaled another building with her grappling hook, laying her behind an air-conditioner in order to treat her wounds. "Moon Knight..." she said into her communicator, "we've got to get out of here. Grab the Panther and fall back now!"

"But we can still take them..."

"No. We can't. Spider-man and Dagger are both down. Elektra and Cloak are injured, and the rest of us are just barely holding on. We need to regroup and come after this organization some other time."

Moon Knight frowned, but didn't reply. There was truth to what she was saying, but he didn't want to admit defeat.

1) Scorpion will try to breakaway, roll........5. Scorpion will pick up the HO from L-15 and move to J-12.

2) M.O.D.O.K. will pick up Barry and fly to T-8 dropping Barry in T-7.

3) Decker(8) will take a shot at the revealed Electra(12), roll...........1,1 for DOH! His weapon backfires and he takes a click in embarrassment.

4) Flap(8) will take a shot at Electra(12), roll.........1,2 for 3, miss. Hun.......well that was unexpected.......hope those rolls stay away from my Flighters.

1) Moon Knight attacks Scorpion. AV of 8 vs DV of 12. Needs a 4. Rolls an 8 (5+3). Scorpion takes a click and is KOed. The HO drops to J12.

2) Elektra runs and dives to H13.

3) Cloak will attack Barry (hard to decide whether to fight or flee). AV of 7 vs DV of 11. Needs a 4. Rolls a 6 (2+4). Cloak does 1 click to Barry, and steals some energy, healing himself a click as well.

Story post:

"Just give me a few more moments..." Moon Knight replied over his comm. Surely things had to start turning their way soon, he thought. He looked across to where Elektra was still nimbly avoiding the Scorpions attacks. She couldn't put a dent in his armour, but at least she was keeping him occupied.

Suddenly Scorpion looked up at him and sneered. Ignoring Elektra, he used his tail to yank away the tank of petrol that she was dancing around and marched towards him menacingly. Moon Knight knew he had just one chance. He pulled out one of his toxic crescent darts, and just as Scorpion lifted the tank up to squash him with, he shoved it into a small gap in the stomach plating. Scorpion's eyes rolled back in his head and he passed out.

"Nice job!" Elektra said, and then had to cartwheel away from a volley of energy blasts which just narrowly missed her. She found some cover behind a nearby fuel pump. "So, now whats the plan?"

Meanwhile MODOK had gone in search of the one designated Cloak. That one had intrigued him earlier, and was now cowering behind a building. Cloak's energy had been almost depleted. He was shivering from the cold when MODOK appeared above him with his stooge Barry.

Cloak glanced upwards. He considered teleporting away, but he knew that if he could just steal some of their life-force, he might be able to stand a chance. The giant head was too powerfuil, but perhaps the other one. The end of his cape reached out and wrapped around Barry, drawing energy from him.

"S-so c-c-cold..." Barry chattered.
