The figure looks GREAT! These transporters all seem to have very reasonable point costs as well.
But... as nice as the figure is, I don't think she'll be making any of my teams. Anything X-Men just leaves a sour taste in my mouth. She'll be up for trade for any FF pieces.
Am I the only one with a great feeling of "meh" about the previews so far? The RS/PB combo on Moonstar is nice & all, but with only 2 damage & a very hittable defense, I don't think she's worth the investment. The Transporter bit is nice, but I wouldn't want to spend 90 points on a hit & run fig with, at its' best, an 8 AV.
Doom? He's okay, I guess, but he's just simply not as good as the Clobberin' Time version.
Namor? Nice to have the character, but I feel really been-there-done-that about his dial. -yawn-
So far the only thing that attracts me to the set is the possibility of a fully revamped & completely useful FF. The more I see, the more I'm feeling like I'm going the singles route for the first time since I started buying Heroclix.
Okay, can we get a good definition of which powers will work with the Transporter attack?
To my knowledge, only Super-Strength. The Transporter attack is a move-action that lets you make a free ranged- or close-combat attack during the move, same as Hypersonic, except it's at a -2 attack penalty. Since most combat powers require a ranged-combat, close-combat, or power action to use, there's not a whole lot that will stack with it.
At first Moonstar looked a tad overpriced to me, but after taking all her new stuff into account and looking again she looks just about right. Yet another mobile attacker for my X-Men teams.
Doom looks... well, right about how I expected. They tried to cram some of the goodness of the original Doom and some of the standard big-gun powers all together into one figure and didn't take price into account. We got spoiled by V Doom and the just about perfect placing of all his powers to get maximum effectiveness out of them. If I get this one, I'll give him a shot, but I'm not optimistic about his point effectiveness.
Sub-Mariner, however, I am very pleased with. All start with Charge, get a mid-dial boost with Flurry, full dials of Damage-reducers, Vet has 11 clicks of life for a good price, and a nice assortment of TAs, not to mention that 2 of those 3 are effectively wildcards... me like.
Is anyone else bothered by the position of her arrow on her bow? To aim properly, the arrow-head should be much closer to her left hand. If that's the way she fires her bow, her attack value should be closer to Destiny's.
Christian Bale: "How much more Batman can you get? The answer is: none. None more Batman."

As was pointed out in the Transporter article, her AV can be upped with Perplex. Her status as a double-based figure with dual-targets also opens up some possibilities, since it lets her draw lines of fire from both squares during an attack.
Does this mean that we're not getting a Valkerie and Black Knight? I can't imagine they're going to give us three transport figures with winged horses.....
That's my fear as well. I'd MUCH rather have either of those figures than Moonstar...and to be honest I was hoping for BOTH Black Knight and Valkyrie. My hopes are pretty much dashed after having seen this preview though. Too bad. I'm disappointed.
Not a lot of talk about Scarlet Witch so far. The vet version essentially gives you Domino and few more points adds Prob down the dial, a 10 range if needed and, best/cheesiest of all, she grants Ultimates TA to all her wildcard teammates. Nice.
