Here's my deal: What if the vendor who's selling the clix brix rips open all the brix and takes the little LE mail away slips and gets 4 LE's. Hmm...seems like that could be something they would do just to get LE's (like my local venue because they're horrible retailers to begin with). That DEFINATELY seems like something my local venue would do. Maybe you'll have to mail in all the proofs of purchase with them in order to get them maybe? I dunno!

WK said the reason for more Marvel sets over DC is cos "Marvel sells much better."
Indy won't be made in boosters again cos "its not economically viable."
Actually, I'm not sure how many people caught this, but they said "but we know that players want more (IndyClix), so we've come up with a wildstorm of ideas about getting more made."
And earlier, they talked about how Vertigo is a definite possibility due to fan interest in the characters.
I think Indy lives... and so does The Authority.

Oh, and I'm also glad to see uniques are much more common now. I went through 12 packs of ultimates without a single unique (obviously bought at seperate times) so I"m glad that if I decide just to get a few packs of a set instead of a case or so, I'll have better chances of getting a unique.

1. There can only be one LE redeemable to a household. And they have to send a receipt to obtain it.
2. Report them to WizKids. They will keep your identity anonymous and investigate the venue. I am sure WizKids will take this very personally if it turns out to be true.
The clix bricks Le bit burns me a bit. This is definitely a slap in the face to online dealers. I left the GW scene when they did the same thing two years ago by not allowing online stores to discount. Free enterprise is free enterprise. The bottom line from this is I will never buy another booster retail again. Someone needs to support online stores.
I am not for anything that divides players into two categories. Free maps for tournament figures. Free Le’s for tournament players. I have every figure, my three sentinels, waited for a chance to buy my Galactus, and brought new players into the game. I just don’t play in tournaments. But alas I am not the type of player that should be rewarded with a map? Now I need to start hanging out with the hordes of unwashed at my local B&M?
With Rip It UP you will always have something to help increase your damage and can use the objects already placed on the map for an extra boost.
The whole idea of being easier to get a set and also get less dups will allow me to start buying more. Before I would buy a case and not get all I want but a half case yielded even worst results. Now I buy less but get more and that makes me very very happy.
Sorry, that's not nearly good enough to get me re-interested in this game. They still haven't changed the rules... that's what made me quit in the first place.

Come to the Dark Side, because we have better uniforms. Better rules, abilities, and sculpts too.
and the rules are fine as is, changing them would have led to people leaving the game....
Third Place Winner, Boneyards Contest. Huzzzah!
Finallly, Guy Gardner has Arrived in the world of Heroclix! Galactus, Fin Fan Foom, and Spectre beware!
This series of announcements was awesome. I don't know why so many here seem to have had difficulty getting their questions through. I didn't have any problems. There was no confirmation, but when asked about the ad for figures from Giant Size X-Men #1 in the FF boosters, BroMags stated that most of the speculation on the forums have the right idea. Most of the speculations have involved a boxed set of some kind. While not a confirmation, it's a very strong hint.
I love the idea of 1 in 3 boosters having a Unique. Players shouldn't have to hunt all over creation to complete their collections. I don't care about the "value" of a figure. I just want it. It's just a piece of plastic, and shouldn't cost $75 on ebay. Why should I care if it hurts secondary retailers? These are the same companies that charge $5 to ship a figure with First Class Mail through the USPS despite the fact that it only costs them $0.85. I don't play my Unique Nightcrawler because he's worth a fortune. I play him because he's awesome.
I love this Wizkids, love it. Ebay be damned, if you love playing with different characters and love the game then I don't see how this is bad news.....
How can you complain that they are harder to collect now ? Didn't I read about a gazillion threads on how their Fantastic Forces cases had horrible collation?
I didn't read too much about this "brick" thing. I know that the store I get cases from always discounts, so it's win-win. All I hear about is how people get boned by the online dealers, so I still don't know why the complaints are in.
Maps are very cool, especially themed ones (Stark Enterprises!!!), but small maps aren't fun at all.
People, you now have a chance to get a unique in one in three boosters. I fail to see how that hurts anyone......
Luke B. back in the swing of things with this news (and to think, Fantastic Forces is the last set where the Uniques are truly rare. You Ebay sellers, including myself, can bite IRON-MAN!)
