I'll tell you what i apreciated most about this game was it actually played like a real comic book.
The teams run in and battle each other for a little bit but that soon gave way and everyone breaks up and it led to individual matchups right when Wonderman charged Blizzard.

NEW TOTALS AFTER TRAINING #4
R Iron Man (Xplosion) 16 IXPs and 2 IAPs
R Wonder Man 12 IXPs and 2 IAPs
E Scarlet Witch (Infinity Challenge) 4 IXPs, 2 IAPs
R Hawkeye (Clobberin' Time) 9 IXPs, 1 IAP
LE Ant-Man 3 IXPs, 1 IAP
Team: 83 TXPs, 2 IAPs
I unbelievably made a simple arithmetic error. I'm ashamed. I miscalculated the TAPs from the villains KOd in the training match. 234 / 2 = 117 / 4 = 29.25 => 29 TAPs. Add these 29 to the 17 from damage dealt = 48 TAPs = 12 TXPs
Here are the corrected TOTALS
R Iron Man (Xplosion) 16 IXPs and 2 IAPs
R Wonder Man 12 IXPs and 2 IAPs
E Scarlet Witch (Infinity Challenge) 4 IXPs, 2 IAPs
R Hawkeye (Clobberin' Time) 9 IXPs, 1 IAP
LE Ant-Man 3 IXPs, 1 IAP Team: 80 TXPs, 3 TAPs
Doom's Medic reminded me that i might have chance to roll for a guest star in the next issue, whom i could really use, but the roll was a disappointing: 3.
I made yet another ridiculous addition error in the calculation of the TAPs from the training match #4. 29 + 17 = 46 (not 48, as i had). These 46 TAPs convert to 11 TXPs and 2 TAPs
Re-corrected TOTALS:
R Iron Man (Xplosion) 16 IXPs and 2 IAPs
R Wonder Man 12 IXPs and 2 IAPs
E Scarlet Witch (Infinity Challenge) 4 IXPs, 2 IAPs
R Hawkeye (Clobberin' Time) 9 IXPs, 1 IAP
LE Ant-Man 3 IXPs, 1 IAP Team: 80 TXPs, 1 TAP
Unless it'll mess up the Armor Wars story line too much, i would like to play the following small, two-character squad in WCAvengers issue #5:
U Iron Man from Armor Wars (100 pts, grey armor)
R Scarlet Witch (FForces) w/ Armor Piercing (35 + 10 pts)
==> 145 pts.
I fear that i can't risk Ant-Man, Hawkeye nor Wonder Man as injured as they are, and i erred by not choosing a reserve member...
I've sent DKnight PMs to this effect, as well as a fiction piece. I hope this is all in order.
Tony Stark was sitting in a lively karaoke bar when he felt the vibration. It was coming from his tri-mode cell phone in the pocket of his jacket. It brought his thoughts back to where he was: absent-mindedly watching one of Mr Kurosawa’s assistants sing Neil Young on stage – badly. Tony realized that this was part of the deal, that this social event – as staged and artificial as it seemed – belonged to the delicate negotiations just as the previous days’ challenging business discussions had. He suppressed the desire to see who had his private number and could have risked interrupting his efforts in Japan despite his express instructions not to disturb him this evening.
Finally, My Kurosawa had had enough sake and pampering by the attractive waitstaff. He arose and departed. As if on cue, his assistants waited a few minutes and also left, relieved to be relieved of duty, and resigned to their roles, it seemed. Tony was in a similar position; he, too, could now retreat to his hotel room and investigate the emergency call.
“Tony, it’s Pepper,” the message began. Her voice was tight and the words were terse and concerned. “There’s been a break-in at Beta Facility. A couple of the security guards were badly injured, some burned, some suffering severe frostbite. The West Coast Avengers also responded to the call, and the police are on their way to back up our security. I’ll let you know more as soon as I can.” That was it; no additional message.
Beta Facility was key in Stark Enterprises’ research and development into battlesuit technology, particularly the human-CPU interfacing. Tony knew that anyone capable of overcoming that facility’s tight security was not to be taken lightly. Still, he was confident in the other Avengers’ powers and resolve. Pepper probably hadn’t called back because the situation was in hand. He tried to employ his relaxation techniques and get some sleep in spite of his jet lag and the time difference.
The next day, Tony was in a better mood. He was on his way to the airport with a document to his successful negotiations in his briefcase. Mr Kurosawa had agreed to the establishment of a jointly-operated research facility in Fukuoka. Tony had been watching Kurosawa’s advances in the field of micro-propulsion for some time now, and believed that the new research facility could contribute to improved battlesuit technology. Tony also had an idea with respect to Wonder Man that featured a couple of jet propulsion units.
As he neared the airport, he was about to call Pepper, but he listened again to her brief message first. This time, he thought he heard a click of some sort at the end of the message. Had he been too tired to notice that last night? He called her immediately.
“Oh, Tony, I’ve been trying to reach you all night!” Pepper said excitedly. Those intruders were some super-villains, and one of them was wearing a sort of armored suit. Both Wonder Man and Hawkeye were injured in the fight, but Dr Pym and the Scarlet Witch came through it okay… Oh, Tony,” her voice started to crack, “Mark Freeman was killed…” Normally, Tony wouldn’t have known the names of all of his security guards, but Mr Freeman had been a neighbor of Pepper’s brother, and Tony had made it a point to welcome him to his new job a couple months back.
“I’m on my way to the airport now, Pepper. I’ll be there as soon as I can. I need you to keep a cool head and coordinate with the police and the security teams.” After issuing a few more instructions, Tony hung up. Yes, it was probably better to keep Pepper busy than to send her home, where she would be alone.
In one respect, Tony had, however, told a white lie. He wouldn’t be there as soon as he could. He might be able to make better time returning to California in his armored form as Iron Man, but he couldn’t risk that now. If Beta Facility had been compromised, then he had little recourse but to refrain from employing his armor for the time being. Who knows what sort of secrets had been gleaned from Stark Enterprises’ files and computers.
One thing was, however, certain: The intruders would pay.
