These came out this week ... ? Dangit. Someone at the comic shop botched my pull list, apparently, as I didn't get them.

Fantastic. Now I've got to go check the shelves tomorrow at lunch to see if they've still got any.



NOTE: I do NOT blame my local comic shop, necessarily. They just moved across town and their Diamond Comics rep got canned, but Diamond told him that he was going to get canned, so he didn't bother inputting their orders -- or, apparently, a lot of other people's orders -- for the entire month of July.

And, Diamond, rather than calling them up and saying "Hey, we know that you guys have been loyal customers, ordering regularly, for nearly 15 years ... is there a reason you don't have a July order?" just didn't do anything.

So, they didn't find out until Wednesday came and no boxes full of comics showed up. Needless to say, these past couple of weeks have been a little screwy at the local comic store.

I heard the new DD is Clint Barton, is that right?

I ditched Squadron Supreme as soon as they decided to UNMAX it. It had the pace of watching paint dry but at least it had sweet artwork and some absolutely brutal violence (the mall scene anyone ?) ...

Same here...

I've just been reading the MAX TPB's of the series. The Mall scene is very vividly recalled in my memory. I liked it.
