A Justice League with Batman as lider tryng to put Wonder Woman in jail, just for some time. or a Jutice League of really hard hitters lider by Wonder Woman with Warriors only like Hawkman and Hawkgiel and others.
And, this is why you're not writing for DC Comics.

Just give me Hal Jordan and he will never be a greta Lantern again: he will be a Vertigo character: Hero-villian crazy-hero-deadman- and now resurrected man.
I also suspect that this is still the funniest thing i've seen him post in a coon's age.
A coon's age? I'm not familiar with that terminology.

To tell you the truth, I wouldn't mind the JLA comic taking a lesson or two from the cartoon. The JLA should be a massive orginization involving many, many heroes. The comic could thrive on a constantly changing roster of characters (that's practically what they do anyway).
And who doesn't want to see Ollie and Roy team up every once and a while? Not a fan of this lineup? Next mission could be in space where there's no need for Vixen or Batman.
Plus, some threats just require the presence of the big 7.
The formation that I liked most (until today) was the replacement team from obsidian age.
I wonder why no one ever tried a JLA formation containing only Supes, Batman and WW ...
...
I believe that I won't read any other DC book this season (other than Secret Six, which is fun). The two crisis really took me out of DC ... the first because I liked Atom and the mind-wipe thing will never allow the likes of Hawkman and Green Arrow to come back to JLA (never I mean in a reasonable way ... if some writers decides that they must come back, it wouldn't mind to mind-wipe half of the world to explain this ...).
The second because I didn't liked the "it's all Luthor's fault" thing. And hell, WW breaked the neck of someone on national TV and got away with it! Howe can she be back in the JLA???
Squirrel Girl's KO list:
1. Doctor Doom
2. Thanos
3. Terrax
4. M.O.D.O.K.
5. Deadpool
Currently reading ...
1. Ultimates II
2. Ultimate Fantastic Four
3. Secret Six
4. Eternals
5. Young Avengers

I wouldn't mind something like that. Heck make it a 3 person oligarchy (Supes, bats, and WW) and then they call in whoever they need for each mission. This would be similar to the old cartoon show MASK. Each lineup would vary and bring different skills to bear.
he was in every JLA Lineup ever! (except for that undergound JLA, which bit the big one.)
J'onn wasn't part of the Satellite-era JLA, which people seem to forget. He left right before the JLA left the cave and moved to the satellite, and his return was in the storyline that destroyed the satellite, with IIRC a single guest appearance for issue 200.

It's Roy, without question. We were told that a former Teen Titan was going to be part of the new JLA. No one else on the team meets that qualification.
Well I haven't read the issue yet but I like the inclusion of the lesser powered heroes myself. I think it is really cool that Black Lightning is on the team, although my only complain per se is that Hawkgirl is on the team. I'm not a big fan of hers but that's okay since Roy's on the team and so is Vixen. I think this series has potential, especially if this version of the team can hang around for several issues before inevitably swapping out some of its members.
My hope though is that when they swap out some people that they don't swap everyone at a time. for example, since i'm not big on Hawkgirl, maybe Maxima could take her place for a while. Maybe Metamorpho could swap out with Vixen from time to time.
I think it's cool and look forward to reading it.

Jeez, this weak line-up is just so that DC can appear to be ethnically diverse. It stifles creativity and fosters hyper-politically correct themes. I won't be reading this.
All this is just a plot to sell more comics to Robot-Americans, who traditionally don't read comics anyway.
(They just download them from IRC and scan them into their memory banks. If you see a robot with its lights off, head slumped you might think it's powered down. Nuh-uh. Its internal circuits are busy pirating comics and violating copyright laws.)

Last night's Itchy & Scratchy was, without a doubt, the worst episode ever. Rest assured I was on the internet within minutes registering my disgust throughout the world.

I liked that team too!

They did, in a 3 issue mini-series called Trinity. It's pretty good, check it out.

Why wouldn't Green Arrow and/or Hawkman be on the JLA in the future? This is a fresh start for the team, and part of that is forgiving the members for their last transgressions. There's even some dialogue about Hawkman, in the first issue. I'm sure writers are fully capable of adding them to the team without having to resort to the mindwipe angle.

It wasn't all Luthor's fault, though he was the mastermind behind it all. He had some help along the way.
As for Wonder Woman, it's all about forgiveness. Essentially the heroes were in a state of war, and her actions in killing Max Lord have to be viewed in that context. He posed too big a threat to not be taken out, and there was no reasonable way to make him stop mind controlling the more powerful members of the super hero community. Diana made a choice, and though Batman and Superman do not believe in what she did (nor do they condone it) they realize that in order for the world to regain some form of order, they must set aside their personal feeelings for the good of the order. That means being forgiving, and trusting that your friends have learned from their mistakes, and build upon that.
That's my take on the situation.
