I'd love to see him retire as a Packer. I like the Packers, too. But, I have this feeling that Jerry Jones will lure him to the 'Boys and get him another Super Bowl Championship.

I don't think he'd do it. You don't switch teams as a QB and expect to go to the super bowl. For starters, you get to learn a completely new offense. Then on top of that, you have to establish yourself as a leader for your football team. As a send-off, I just don't see it happening.
I do hope that the Cowboys start up one of their bench QB's in mid-season if they have a losing record, though. They'd set themselves up to be pretty successful next season.

Except that now they've got T.O. on the team.
See, that's the factor that everyone forgets. It doesn't matter how good the Cowboys look going into next season, because T.O. will have done something in the first few weeks of next season to entirely disrupt the locker room, insult the Quarterback, alienate the front office, and get himself kicked off of the team.

JacinB is right.

I don't forget that factor. I just automatically assume that he'll be on another team by the start of next season.

I have trouble thinking that any other team will take that risk. Again. I think Dallas was his last chance.

I don't think someone like Farve with his credentials and history would have to establish himself anywhere with a new team.
Same way when Bledsoe was brought in last year. You just knew he was going to adapt and get the job done.
As a matter of fact, if it wasn't for the injuries to Dallas's O-Line last year and bad kickers, Dallas would have been easily in the playoffs last year.
This year, the O-Line is in synch and Mike V is starting to get his self-confidence back to be the best kicker in the League again.

Well, Tony Romo is picked to be Drew's successor. He had a tremendous Pre-Season. And, he did really well in the 4th Quarter of D's game against the Titans this past Sunday.
But, I still think Jones and Parcells would do everything possible to tempt Farve onto the Cowboys simply to see him retire on a winning team.
Part of me actually hopes Jerry Jones gets Dan Marino to come out of retirement just so Dan can finally get a Super Bowl ring.

Naw. You forget that Dallas has a history of bringing in "troubled players" and harnessing all that uncontrolled energy into making them even better players and getting them Super Bowl Championships.
Remember:
Deion Sanders
Michael Irving
Their antics were newsworthy week in and week out, but it never hurt the overall team stability. As a matter of fact, Dallas's players actually have a history of feeding off the challenges and locker room antics to make them strive to be better.
I see Jerry Jones and Bill Parcells being the only people in the NFL currently who can keep T.O. focused and under control. My other choice would be Jimmy Johnson, but he's currently retired.

Which brings up one of my favorite jokes:
There are five Dallas Cowboys in a car, whos driving?
The Police!
Catering to the lowest common denominator since Feb 2003.
