That'd be great. Then they can bring the series' all up to date by having a special come out. Maybe a once a week comic that takes slices/views of teh different chars over the course of the year to show fans what had happened in-between the times. They can just have Wanda reset to 2005, but show, in the regular series' that it's 2006, and have those specials... Yeah, that'd work, and be so original.
Maybe she'll reset the world back to summer of 1986 and we can forget about the Mutant Massacre too. Who's with me?
I say restart it to just after Secret Wars Two.
back when chars had origins that were fine as is and didn't need obssive tweaking by fools who don't know the chars history. Like, as an example, Venom. How many changes have there been? I lost track.
Black Panther in my mind is similar to Namor, just a royal pain in the butt. Now he may be written much differently these days, but these are my iconic images of him.
He'd still being written like an royal pain in the butt. Just now he's being written as a REALLY angry royal pain in the butt. Kinda like a more agressive Namor. Which is hard...
I mean he... (as is anyone in the black panther book.) Seems prone to angerly flipping out way out of proportion then what is warranted. Maybe it's because he has the ebony blade or something... eh... of course... he got it in a "year one" story and apparently had it to this day... though i hear they retconned it to not being a year one story... so whatever.
The only remotely black panther thing he did in that issue was try to aquire a majority stock in Stark Enterprises. Of course old T'Challa wouldn't of mentioned it until he actually achieved it.

CBR says the new FF my be Johnny, Ben, Storm, and Black Panther. Lovely. I can see it now: Ben will make some remark about BP and Storm being the new Ozzie and Harriet :disappoin .
I think Storm would be awesome on the FF. She was a well-written character in the X-men, especially her origin as a "token". I think she'll get along well with Johnny and Ben.
Now, will the Panther wear a blue and white costume?
Just think about it, if this had happened a year or two ago, we would have had Spider-Man and Wolverine on the FF along with their Avengers memberships. (and not in a good "them plus GR and Hulk" kind of way, more in a greedy, "fans will buy anything with Peter and Logan in it" kind of way.)

BP and Storm on the FF??? What next? Flava Flav joining the Avengers? FEH! Awful.. Why don't they just go back to the Byrne Principal and reinstate She-Hulk, considering she was able to still talk with Reed after the events in CW #4!

Since Reed won't be there that won't be much of an issue. Plus, She-Hulk was on the pro-reg side and will be working with/for SHIELD, Johnny and Thing are currently anti-reg (well, Thing was pro-reg until he left) so this team seems to have needed two anti-reg characters. She-Hulk wouldn't fit into that.
Although She-Hulk is supposed to learn more about the Hulk's fate shortly so there's always a possibility for a switch.

Makes you think the Fantastic Four are going to be an international force. Either that or a lot of stuff will be going on in Wakanda.
After Civil War the Pro Regs should still be about and i can't imagine Johnny and Thing going "Eh ok we give up."

Call me crazy, but I think this new direction with the FF might work. Yeah, the line up is odd, but I have some faith in Dwayne McDuffie who'll be taking over the writing for the book when JMS leaves to focus on Thor. According to a recent interview, McDuffie will be picking up a loose thread he left in Beyond! regarding Gravity and I'm really looking forward to seeing where he takes things.
If this were in someone else's hands, I'd probably agree with everyone else though.
and, well, at least there is a picture of Lyja on the page. Havent' seen her in a long while, and the last time was only in a dream of Johnny's for a panel or so.
Oh gads, say it isn't so! The only author currently in Marvel's bullpen who should be allowed to write Thor is Oeming.
With JMS on board, we'll find out that Jane Foster actually really had a thing for Loki, and had a half dozen half-god children with him who secretly set up the whole Dissassembled arc.:speechles :disappoin

He's so bad, he mak'a me mad
Un-fun Dad, un-fun Dad
He's a real cad, Un-fun Dad"
You think they'd of learned that from previous history.
Nope, I was aware these guys couldn't cook from round one.
It's pretty rough when the closest thing to canon I have read lately is Marvel Zombies. Even the Zombies are more 'in character' than the characters in Civil War.
The shortest distance between two points is the gap between the minimum requirement and not-good-enough.
