"Where did Brainy go?" Cosmic Boy looks in wonder as Brainy disappears.

"And who or what put up that ice wall? That isn't a Fatal Five maneuever!" Kara looks increduously at the ice covering Validus and the guard.

"Legionnaires, I have teleported back to the ship in orbit. When Validus hit me, he broke my teleporting device which sent me back here. I will still be advising from the ship. Now listen carefully," Brainiac-5's voice crackles through the comlink.

"Chameleon, distract Valdius."

"Yes sir!" Chameleon mock salutes. He shifts into Bette Davis but with scissors as hands and saunters over to Validus. "Hey there tall, muscular, and growly...what's a monster like you doing in a warehouse like this?" He bats his eyes innocently at Validus.

"Invisible Kid, Wildfire, fall back, away from Tharok, we have bigger fish to fry."

Invisible kid and Wildfire dodge left as Tharok aims right and head over to the trucks.

"I have a plan, but we must work together, as a team. Or all of life may be lost."

"Isn't it always?" Cosmic Boy smirks.

Free action - Validus will Outwit Super Strength on Supergirl.

2. Emerald Empress moves to I5, dropping Tharok in J4.

3. Killer Frost pushes will lay ice cubes in the same format as before.

LoSH Turn 11

"Now what happened to Chameleon?" Kara looks around.

"Validus keeps targeting our teleporting devices," Brainiac-5's voice came over the comlink. Chameleon is up here with me." Brainiac-5 pauses, "I would rather get hit again by Validus then be up here alone with him."

"Now what Brainy?" Comic Boy asks nervously.

Shvaugn runs over to Cosmic Boy, "I'm really scared right now. The academy never had simulations like this."

"Welcome to the life of the Legion of Super Heroes." Cosmic Boy grins.

"Cosmic Boy, try to throw that engine block you are standing on at Empress."

Cosmic Boy brings up his arms and sends the engine block into the Empress.

"Good. Drake, try to hit her. hard."

Wildfire shrugs his shoulders and backhands the Empress. She falls to the ground not moving.

"Woo hoo!" Chameleon's voice comes over the com-link, "We can see everything that is going on up here. All the Legionnaires are yellow dots and the Fatal Five are blue dots and one of the blue dots just disappeared."

Brainiac-5's voice comes over the comlink again, "Lyle, head over to Kara and Cos and help them out, Drake stay tough. Tharok hits hard."

Lyle silently maneuvers past Tharok over to Kara and Cosmic Boy.

"So what's the plan Brainy?"

"Hit them hard and hit them fast" Brainiac-5 says matter of factly, "We are running out of time. Central command just informed me that if we do not stop the Fatal Five very soon, the artifact's magic will be released into the universe, forever dooming all lifeforms."

"So no pressure guys!" Chameleon's cheery voice comes over the comlink.

Wildfire dodges Tharok's fists, ducking as the Fatal Five member tries to connect.

"Very nice Drake! Cosmic Boy, get Kara a clear shot on Validus. We only have this one last shot!" Brainiac-5 shouts on the com-link.

"Kara...you are heavier than I remember," Cosmic Boy grunts as he brings his arms up and moves Kara next to him, beads of sweat forming on his head.

"Watch it Cos...." Kara furrows her brows and looks toward Validus.

"Hey, brain face!" she shouts, her eyes glowing red.

Validus turns to her, his face twisted in rage.

"As they said on Earth, if you don't like the heat," twin beams of fire leap from her eyes and strike Validus in the chest, his armor bursting into sparks. He falls to the ground, not moving.

"Then stay out of the kitchen?" Chameleon's voice pipes up over the comlink.

"Thanks for ruining my moment Chameleon..." Kara sighs.

"He fell! I cannot believe he fell! We stopped Validus!" the Science Police Officer giggles with excitement.

"Stay focused!" Brainiac-5's voice says sternly, "Tharok is still threatening Drake. And we need to find that artifact! This isn't over yet!"

LoSH Turn 13

Drake attempts to get past Tharok but he stops Drake in his path.

"The artifact....that guard has it!" Brainiac-5 shouts over the comlink, "And it is about to release the magical energies. We are too late!"

The science police officer raises her gun and fires at the guard. Her beam connects with the artifact. The guard and the artifact explode in a brilliant array of colors and sound. When the smoke clears, nothing is left of either.

"Is this when we celebrate or what?" Cosmic Boy asks quietly, staring at the smoking spot where the guard use to stand.

"I didn't mean...I mean, I didn't want...." Shvaugn stutters.

"Good job Shvaugn," Brainiac-5 voice comes over the comlink. "It was the only thing anyone could have done. Now, round the remaining members of the Fatal Five."

"And who is doing those ice walls?" Kara wonders, looking around the warehouse.

Invisible Kid sneaks around the boxes to get a better look at the mysterious ice person.

LOL. To boot, I'm not too talented yet with scripting stories to go along with these games. Other folks have a better hand at it, so I thought just pulling quotes from the comics would be the way to go. Takes a bit of time, though. Heck, it may even look like I'm putting more effort into looking for quotes than trying to win this game.

But on the bright side, I've thought of a pretty cool deal with carry the fun of the quotes a little further and involve our various observers. A contest. I'll post it later today.
