HO: I14, P7, M8, M9
LO: I15, M5, M11, M12
Map: DC D
Battlefield Conditions: Low Gravity; Debris
Scenario Notes:
The Dreadnaught must go! -- The objective of this game is to destroy the Dreadnaught and thus blow up the entire debris-field. The Dreadnaught has a Def. of 15 and toughness for its entire dial.
When destroyed, the game ends. The Legion gets KO TAP for any enemy they’ve actually damaged, but none for any they have not actually hit.
The Dreadnaught is represented on the map by the little yellow building at the bottom. Thus, the villains start at the bottom of the map, the Legion starts at the top.
All Hindering Terrain on this map is considered Blocking Terrain for this game. These are the husks of broken, destroyed ships floating in the vacuum of space.
Any space of Blocking Terrain may be targeted by an attack. If the attack deals 2+ damage, the terrain is destroyed - it explodes with the effect of an Energy Explosion attack, dealing 1 point of damage to any adjacent characters. When the attack is resolved, replace the Blocking Terrain with a Rubble tile.
Thrown or TK’ed objects deal their normal damage to the target, but will also explode, dealing 1 point of splash damage to all adjacent units

1. Live Wire will attempt to RCE Sboy. AV 8 vs DV 16. Roll is a 2, 6. That's barely a hit. Superboy takes 2 clicks and is knocked back to Q8.
2. Cosmic Boy will TK the HO in I14 at Superboy. AV 7 vs DV 15. Roll is a 4, 4. Yet another barely hit and Superboy takes 2 clicks and is KO'ed.
3. Element Lad will RCE the Dreadnaught. AV 9 vs DV 15. Roll is 2, 3. That's a miss. Darn it!
4. Last chance. Wildfire will push to attack the Dreadnaught. AV 8 vs DV 15. Roll is a 6, 6! Wow, talk about unnecessary. The Dreadnaught takes 3 clicks after Toughness and is KO'ed.
Phew!

Thanks for the great game Turtle! I was taking a risk waiting till the very end, but I had to risk it to get the last bit of experience...especially with M'onel and Triplicate girl coming soon...I'm gonna need a LOT of TAP.

Cosmic Boy saw the flash of the Dreadnaught beginning to explode, then a soft glow enveloped him as the space around him became some alien mineral. After that, he could only feel faint reverberations within his protective cocoon. Element Lad had done it. They had succeeded, and given Brainy what he’d needed - a clear shot at whatever was down on Kharida, with no potential weapons left in orbit.
Maybe he could take just this moment to rest, then. It had been so long since he’d felt like they’d really won a battle, it would be nice to enjoy this.
Drifting in space, he waited for the com-signal from Brainiac 5’s Espionage Squad to tell him things had gone alright.
Minutes passed, and still he waited. Long minutes more. He’d drifted off to sleep a little when the call finally came, but rather than the simple click to indicate success, there was an alert beacon.
Would one simple victory be too much to ask?

*What do you mean we’re all doomed, Brainy?* Saturn Girl asked. But the green-skinned Coluan was ignoring her, as he usually did anyone who he deemed beneath his notice. Which usually meant everybody.
“Sprock it, Brainy,” Phantom Girl said. “If you won’t tell us what--“
“Isn’t it obvious?” the boy yelled, suddenly whirling on his teammates. “Even for your pathetically infinitesimal intellects?! This was never about the ‘Legion of Super Villains!’ We were all deceived. All but me, and I was too late to stop it.”
“Stop what?” Invisible Kid asked. “And if you knew what was going on, why didn’t you--“
“They have my program. A renegade program I coded years ago, but scrapped when it became too troublesome. It’s been guiding and corrupting these imbeciles, and using them as pawns to weaken the republic. It even used a disguise of its own - the ridiculous ‘Computer Kid’ - and sat right under my nose.”
“What is it?” Chameleon asked, trying to pry out a straight answer from the fuming genius.
“It is Computo,” Brainiac said. “And it’s come to destroy us all.”
