Has there been any mention of the Blue Beetle into the color spectrum? I had thought the Scarab was being tied into the cosmic color guards when the GL rings kept freaking out in the presence of the new Blue Beetle, and when the Wizard Shazam started hyping up the Scarab's importance.
Also, as avatars of Hope, I don't think one could do much better than Ted Kord and Jamie Reyes, the DCU's perpetual under dogs, always just trying to do their best. Both come off a lot like a DCU Peter Parker, always hoping to not let down the team.
In interviews it's been said that Blue Beetle and The Reach are not part of the "emotional spectrum". As yet the tie in to the Green Lanterns is unrevealed.
Carabas, Alien is on the opposite page, almost the same position. Impaling a GL guy with its Tail. Apparently ET is in the splash page too but I haven't seen him. I'll re-look right now.
EDIT: ET is on the first page at the VERY bottom in the middle of the spread to the left of the crease. He's tiny but he's a good guy lol I couldn't imagine ET in the Sinestro Corps anyway lol

I don't know, man. ET was freaking creepy. And seriously, with the finger and all that, I was scared to death of him when I was little. I still am.

In the time it takes you to read this, I'm hitting on your sister. If she doesn't take the bait, I've got your mom on hold.
On the Violet Lantern - their already here and about, as Star Sapphires. Two have already come from earth, with Carol Ferris and Cowgirl.
On the Black Lanterns, the key here is death. From what I'm reading, it's basically a Zombie Corps. I expect Jack Chance and other noteworthys on this one.
We need Sand. And Sandman. And even Sandy the Golden Boy.
Green Lantern #25. The big splash on page 1 and 2.

I had spotted that one, but I thought that wasn' t it since it only looks derivative of the real Giger aliens, while the Predator is pretty much an exact copy.
Yoda of Borg, we are: Futile, resistance is. Assimilate you, we will.
A few people say that it wouldn't be a good fit, since he relies on the gas more then anything... They haven't read his more recent appearances, I guess. For a few issues, he wanted to prove himself and didn't use the gas. He did indeed spread fear about the land. If it hadn't been for Batman and that meddling sidekick of his, he'd still be scaring people all over Gotham.
Plus, he's now healed up from that adventure and was last seen in the Superman/Batman comic, helping to rid the world of Superman.
So, yeah, the yellow ring might just make a good fit for him afterall.

Most of the Aliens after the first movie look derivative of the original Giger Aliens.

I did read it. It sucked. Bad.
As far as fear-inspiring individuals on earth go, Scarecrow's way down on the list.
Joker. Catman. Cheshire. Black Adam. Lady Shiva. Johnny Sorrow. Zoom. Amanda Waller. Prometheus. Huntress. Every last one of them more fear-inspiring than Scarecrow.
Wasn't there supposed to be a special Sinestro Corps presents: The Anti-Monitor? They did them for Cyborg, Superman-Prime & Parallax. It was listed that Anti-Monitor was going to get one. What happened to it? Because out of all of them, that was the one I was expecting the most.

It was a fake to cover up the Superman-Prime special. Whether to hide that was the actual special they were writing or because they hadn't decided what name to use that wasn't "Superboy" I don't quite recall but, regardless - cover-up for the Superman-Prime special.
I think GL is one of the best written DC titles out there, and I cant wait for the next huge arc worth of stuff.
I definitely loved the GL Small Pox, I was so hoping for guy to bite it first, but eh, cant win em all. At least, now we know how Salk cured polio!!
Personally, I think that the ring bearers for the new corps will be totally unknowns other than the ones we already know. Thats just me though. Could be super-mega-awesome cool if we get some huge heroes in those roles.

Nevertheless, I'd put him on that list. Most of whom you mentioned have super powers, so it's natural to be afraid of them. Hell, Superman is scary when you think of all he could do, and how hard it would be to stop him. Same with Zoom, either Zoom. And Johnny has his powers too.
Now, Joker... he's just nuts. He'll kill or try to kill anyone for any reason, or so it'd seem. So, he's scary, but without super powers, Catman... I'm still not over his depiction in the Kevin Smith run of Green Arrow.
Cheshire and Shiva are scary if only cause you know they can kill you with ease.
Waller can Have you killed with ease, but I don't think she'd bloody her own hands. That's makes her scary too.
And Hunteress... scary, but sexy.
Scarecrow is nuts, has no super powers, isn't known for his martial arts skills, but does some backstabbing and tries hard to kill a lot of people when he can. But I don't think he'd look good in a dress. Tho, if he starts wearing one, he'd be really scary.
I think he should get the ring because he needs some power. That whole "Scare-beast" thing was carp.
On that note, the Riddler is back to being the Riddler and not dressed in black and loaded with tattoos and isn't so serious. That was a dumb make-over.
I hope they bring back the Tangent GL soon. That Lantern of hers is still in Guy's possession, as far as I know.
The lantern showed up in the most recent JLA. It brought Tangent Atom and Flash over, switching them with two other people. Atom got sent back, but Flash is still her. I'm sure we will see a follow up.
