I spent a week in France in an exchange program and the house of the people I stayed with was a bit odd. The guest room I slept in was accessible only through the garage.

As for the bath additive, I think you'd call it a bath bomb. It was creamy white and looked rather tasty, so I took a bite and got a mouthful of perfumed oil.

Secret societies tend to be a lot less interesting than one might assume, IMO.

My Grandfather was a Freemason. I could theoretically find out for you.

I've actually taken a class on Freemasonry and have studied it for a bit.
The interesting part was when after two weeks a couple of Freemasons from the local Lodge started to attend said class. Their appearance was a bit mysterious, but they actually diminished my interest in secret societies.
