"Come on Nocturne, I think we'd better make ourselves scarce," Jakeem said pulling on her sleeve as the villains surrounded them.
"Go on," she said, squaring off against Typhoid Mary. "I'll be right behind you."
"Jakeeeem," the Thunderbolt urged the boy along. "Really, gotta go now."
"Go!" Nocturne pushed him. "I just want to finish off the chick with the sword."
Between Nocturne and Thunderbolt, they convinced Jakeem to make a break for it.
"You think I'm going to be that easy?" Mary asked.
"Oh yeah," Nocturne said, taking her out with one kick.
"You should have listened to the boy," the Ultrahumanite said, looming over her.
"Really, you should have," Arcade agreed with an evil grin. Nocturne realized she may have waited just a bit too long.
"No worries! The cavalry's coming," Strong Guy said, running up to take the Super-Adaptoid's attention off of her at least. "You know," he told it. "Green really isn't your color."
"Indeed Nocturne, we will not abandon you," Beta Ray Bill said, softening up Titania with a hammer blow. "Can you handle her?" He asked Vigilante and Lilandra.
"Of course," Liliandra bristled.
"Yeah, I reckon," Vigilante agreed. "You go on and help out the blue girl. We can deal with this little lady here."

"Magical genie-boy, let us see how you fare when I melt your magical ring to molten slag," Diablo says. He calls upon winds to carry away his elemental mixture. Sadly the winds overtake him and he flips off of the edge of the building.
"Ummmm...I could use some help here...!".
Major Force flies over for a save, "Impressive start," he says sarcastically, "Really impressive start."
Diablo couldn't be in K5 and attack Strong Guy. First, Super Adaptoid's right in his LOF and second, he'd be basing Nocture, so he'd be forced to attack her instead. Any square further forward and he'd be fine.
It's time Lilandra pulled her weight here. She'll attack Titania. AV9 on DV12. Gets 7. Titania's down.
Strong Guy pushes on Super-Adaptoid. AV9 on DV17. Gets 10. Cool. Does 1 damage to the Adaptoid and 1 to himself. At least that knocks him off Shape Change so he's no longer Camouflaged. That was my primary goal.
Remember now if you give Super-Adaptoid a Power Action, you can also specify a Defensive Power he can steal as well, but he can only absorb it if he does take that Power Action. (Man are his powers confusing or what?)
All right, Vigilante picks up Lilandra again, rides to L10/L11, Lilandra in M11, attacks Diablo. AV9 -2 on DV17. Gets another 10. Getting some good rolls. Wonder how long the dice will hold before they go into a slump on me. 2 to Diablo.

"I've had enough of running from you," Lilandra said.
"Good. That mean you're going to stay put and let me wipe the floor with you?" Titania asked.
"No. I believe I shall 'wipe the floor' with you," the majestrix said, firing a blast of energy from her sceptre that stunned Titania into unconsciousness.
"That's a mighty nice stick you got there," Vigilante said, shooting a vial out of Diablo's hand. It exploded rather spectacularly.
"Thank you. I have a bodyguard, but one must be prepared to defend one's self." Lilandra said.
"Okay, Green Dude, let's see how you like a good pounding from me," Strong Guy said, punching the Super-Adaptoid.
"I barely felt anything," the Super-Adaptoid said.
"Well I sure did. I think you broke my knuckles," Guido said.
Before we move on Strong Guy needs to roll for shape change. 2. It's fine.
Arcade outwits Nocturne's ss. Unus on Nocturne. Needs 6, rolls 7. She takes 2 and kb to K7.
Diablo on Bill. He'll outwit his invulnerability first. Needs 7, rolls 8. Jakeem makes that a 10. Bill takes 3.
Ultrahumanite outwits Strong Guy's toughness so Major Force can attack him. Needs 7, rolls 9. 3 to Strong Guy.
Adaptoid attacks SG. Needs 7, rolls 6. It's a shame that Adaptoid's powers are so damaging to himself. It's tempting to use attack or defense drain (if there were someone who had a good attack/defense in the area) but it's at such a cost.
Johnny to J6, attacks SG, needs 8, gets 8. 1 to him after invulnerability. He's back at J1.
Killer Frost in always fun, I'll induct her at J2 and give her construct.

"You bet I'm an Ice Queen," she says shifting her mood, "You're going to feel considerably colder, your organs will get desperate, moving will be painful." She then looks up to her team, "Now's the time to hit him, boys."
As her team converges on Strong Guy she tosses her head back and forth in stern indifference towards her lackluster 'colleagues'.
And while I'm at it, Ultrahumanite wouldn't have LOF to Guido. Between the building and Super Adaptoid, he's blocked. Without him Outwitting his Toughness, Major Force's attack would do 2, not 3. Either way, still puts Guido on an 18DV click. Super-Adaptoid's attack would still be a miss. Johnny's AV is 9, so he'd need a 9 not an 8 to hit Guido. But you can give him a reroll if you want to give someone a token for a shot at a 9. If you succeed, Guido will take 2 after Toughness.
Frost is corrected. Ultrahumanite's lof noted, he'll outwit Nocturne's charge instead of Strong Guy's defense. Force's attack on SG does only 2 damage, Johnny rerolls for his own attack (token to Arcade) needs 9, rolls 10 ( 2 5s). He takes 2 more after toughness and kb to J8.

So okay on Johnny's hit, but the knockback's a little off. To hit him to J8, Quick would have to get behind him up on the roof, which he couldn't do and still attack. From any of the open squares adjacent to Strong Guy (in H7) any KB would be stopped by either the building or Super-Adaptoid. So he stays out but takes 4 overall.
Bill on the Diablo. AV9 on DV16 +1. Gets 10. 2 more to Diablo and he's considerably less of a threat.
Nocturne on Ultrahumanite. AV8 on DV15 +1. Gets 7.
