Good game!
Gamma Gang
KO: Emil Blonsky, Cain Marko, Doombot, The Leader
That's an incredibly difficult team to run effectively. I've run it twice before and the only reason it won the one time was because we had to adjust the card to make the previous version of the leader playable. I was thinking of picking that team and running ZZaask (or whatever his name is) and putting Double Time on him. With phasing and movement of 24, he could have gotten those Gamma Bomb parts quickly.
I think the biggest difference in the FF rules thus far are the carrying rules. Because our flyers were weighed down, it took longer for the board to develop. I think its a good change, but it will slow some teams down.
Good game... I knew I was overmatched to start with and the only way I was going to have a chance is if I rolled extremely well... instead the opposite happened. I hit one attack roll the entire game (on a mind control no less) and you hit most of your attacks. Just a tough matchup for me... good call on Zzax. I didn't think about that... but then I wasn't sure if one character could carry multiple bombs or not... and I never really had a chance to get to your side of the board. I agree the flying rules really hurt me. My poor Doombot would have been moving at a 4 square pace if I'd carried someone. Not having any objects hurt too but since I never hit an attack it wouldn't have mattered.
I think you guys did a good job with this match it was a hard one for the Gamma Gang.
If we were playing the game face-to-face with actual HeroClix I would have actual cards for you to shuffle and draw from.
There would be one each of the colors (as you did) so that you couldnt draw the same one twice.
As for the slotting I made 16 cards with 4 of each slot so 4x and 4x and 4x and 4x . In theory this would give diminishing returns on drawing the same one multiple times as the pool would be thinned out with each draw.
What you did was just fine though.
