Oh come on volcom dont diss the man for his accomplishments even though the game isnt that great i have tried it. Because at least he accomplished something which gives him at least some room to talk even though duel masters isnt on the level of MTG, Vs, WoW, UFS and even Pokemon. It is still an accomplishment

Over the years I've also played M:TG, VS, L5R, Megaman and a few other ccgs.

Duel Master's was the only game I attempted to make any particular competitive waves in due to it being cheaper to maintain and build a tournament deck (one constructed format, 60 card sets) as compared to M:TG where to have any chance of success you're forced to netdeck and blow several hundred bucks on singles just to have half of them cycle out the next block. Not the type of thing to base any continuous exploits on, too expensive.

Otherwise, I played Vs in the dark days of marvel origins before any tournaments got running, and megaman never got beyond local tournament stage before it nosedived.

I suppose then Voltec, you've achieved something better in any ccg to give you the much needed ground to criticize me?

my name is michael dudley (technically its michael hughes but all my ccg accomplishments are under dudley) i've t8ed magic regionals and i t8 states every year i play. won like 3 jss.

vs i've t32ed 2 PCs... always came in 2nd at vs version of jss unfortunately.. i have like 30 pc points.... shouldof t8ed a 10k but i gave a friend the win.. and thats all i can think of right now.

and about my "english" good thing some1 typing on a message board doesnt mean ####. i always made A in english and got 2nd at only school spelling bee i participated in and my highschool contained 800-1000 ppl a grade.

Anyway,
Seems hunter rush of either the Horde or Alliance is the deck to beat at the moment. If you've got a strategy for that match up you should beat the majority of band wagoners/early days deck builders.

Warlock Control and Frostburn are up there too. I wouldn't bank on Shaman Totems though, as the deck has to many holes to exploit by the above three with only minimal dillusion.

Solodin is just awful. Lack of punch sticks you into a slogging match of who dies of boredom first before time is called.

Everything else I'd say we've not seen enough of.
