I stopped collecting shortly after BND started. I just could not get into the character. I felt like reading a "fake" story. And the most insulting part was Marvel only publishing the "raving positive vibes" of fan letters rather than anything that could even remotely be construed as constructive feedback (namely, "If I see Joe Quesada on the street, I'll make him eat my s**t, then s**t out my s**t, then eat his s**t which is made my s**t which I made him eat).

I don't know why everyone hates Joe Quesada so much
I mean he saved Marvel from Chapter 11
Plenty of good stories have come out of his EIC
way better than the 90's

I think every decade has its 'clone saga' & at least BND is not bombarding you with crossovers & tie-ins

I personally like the Dan slott issues alot & the Marcos Martin issues also

but ....
Bob Gale makes me vomit ,re-eat it & vomit what I originally vomited (TASTY!!!)
Menace also is a Goblin rehash
Freak suffers from the 'never dies' syndrome
Anti-Venom is like a Not-Carnage

besides that it pretty good!!

Just to clarify one point, I saw that someone (sorry for not quoting) was talking about Peter making out with someone in a club.

Seriously... you should just read that issue before you speak about the scene. It was typical Parker stuff. And Slott wrote it... and he knows how to write a Spider-man story.
