As a hope of lasting through this ordeal gains strength in Box, he turns to see the zombified Wolverine again lunging at him. Box avoids the worst of it, taking only slight damage in the process. He will get to strike back with his life on the line, but only a lucky shot will keep the zombies from consuming him.
Elsewhere, Ant-Man may yet escape with his life, though the sight of a tiny bug-sized man next to the rotting Hulk would give few hope.
Turn 14A:
1) Wolverine uses charge with BCF (4 movement halved from Atl. Rising, then halved for Charge becomes 1) to move 1 space to M6.
- AV is 9 vs. 17 DV (need 8 to hit)
- Roll is 7 (5,2) - Use 1 opportunist token to increase total to 8!
- BCF roll is... 2... again. 2-1 for Toughness makes 1 damage taken. (1 SA)
Firelord and Hulk clear and await the epic final turn!!!!!

At the rate Wolvie is goin, I'll have that power cosmic version by the beginning of the season. (Not that I'd use it that often, but it's just fun.)
He's been an absolute demon....with Opportunist on him, it virtually ensures every attack will get you a SA point!
On the previous points, I'm not the running away type (as you can see by the fact that Ant Man is sitting out in the open waiting for a slap)....Box will keep trying to KO Wolvie and then heal up...due to his sp...
agree wholeheartedly about the preseason XP accumulation idea...Box has had some awful misses, and I'm still annoyed with myself at not using ant Man's "Barrier" more often...

Brushing aside Wolvies attack Box takes a swing at the foul zombie needing a hit for ....8 on 15...rolls a
6,5 = 11.
Summoning the last vestiges of energy form his armoured suit, Box drives his fist deep into Wolverines gut. There is a flicker of realisation in Wolverines eyes, as he realises his predicament but still hangs on...
Box, reeling from his exertions, looks up to see Firelord watching Ant Man and realises that he may be too late to save his miniscule friend...
1SA, ...
Ant Man, dwarfed by the mighty Hulk , takes a swing at the green behemoth, knowing full well it will take a miracle for him to hurt the beast but reasoning that it never hurts to take a swing does it (to get an SA point!)...
7 on 16 needing a 9 (12 to do damage)...rolls
4,2 = 6.....
sighing, he braces himself for the inevitable "thwack".....

Hulk flails ant the tiny hero, and does hear one tiny little scream of pain as one of his fists hit the floor, but the blow was a glancing one and not enough for the kill. Try as he might, the zombie Hulk will not claim the smallest of heroes this day.
Firelord, sensing a bigger meal awaiting in Box, blasts with cosmic fire and succeeds in tearing away a chunk of armor right around the neck! I think we have all seen enough movies to know what happens once the zombie Wolverine gets ahold of it..... Oh yes, there will be blood.
1) Hulk flurries onto Ant-Man
- 1st attack 10 vs. 19 need 9.
- Roll is.... 11! (6,5)
- 2 damage to Ant-Man who is now on 2/5, Hulk heals one click from SE and is on 7/8
- Still has flurry, so 2nd attack 9 vs. 17 need 8.
- Roll is...... 4. Miss so ant-Man lives....for now.
- 1 SA for Hulk from 1st swing.
2) Firelord range attacks on Box using RCE. 10 vs. 16. need 6
- Roll is....... 7!! (3,4) 3 damage from RCE - 1 from Toughness equals 2 clicks to Box.
- Box now on 2/8, 1 SA for Firelord.
3) Wolverine close combat attack on Box for KO. 7 vs. 15 (need 8, but still have 2 tokens so only need 6.)
- Roll is.....8! (3,5)
- 3 clicks to Box which is enough for the KO!
- WOlvie heals a click and gets 1 SA and 1 KO! Willpower prevents the push damage.
*Turning off Willpower on Hulk so ANt-Man can get in there and do some pushing damage!

Since this was my last turn, great game, it could have turned either way in a couple spots. This was definately fun and I will enjoy being the winner of the HCFL minor league. ;-)
Apologies for "bumping" this but I have a question on my prior post that is holding the game up. If I'm wrong, I can carry on but if I am right we need to redo the previous turn (or parts of it)
Are there any guidelines on correcting errors? For example, can JB use Firelords attack against a different target if he picked an invalid first target? That seems fair if he uses the same dice roll... ?
Appreciate any comments/guidance so that when JB returns, we can crack on!!!

I can tell you for sure that Firelord did *not* have line of fire to take the shot on Box. Usually it looks like he's allowed to take another shot at someone else if possible. I've NO idea if he's supposed to use the same dice roll. I've seen games where they do and games where they don't.
My 2 cents would be to re-roll anything like that (like in an in-person game) but I don't know the League's stance.

I'm all good with Firelord turning around and taking a new shot at Ant-Man with a new roll. (Though now I wasted the 7 that I needed! ;-) )
My only question now is: Since the attack on Box with Wolvie was a legal move (though it came after the shot) do I have to redo it? Sadly, yes.
Here's the deal: if you two had played for say, 5 turns without catching the mistake, and then caught it, you would have had to go back to replay from the point of the error (unless both of you were cool with it).
Every move after then would, in effect, be redone, even if they had all been legal moves.

Ok, so I'm taking your last post as being cool with Wolvie getting the hit on Box using a token, which would give him 1 SA, but no KO. I will now re-roll the Firelord attack on Ant-Man right now, and repost the turn underneath here.
Thanks for being cool with it. If it had been the playoffs, I would have done the re-roll without asking, but it's pre-season right?

Wolverine takes a last desperate bite out of a small exposed piece of flesh, leaving the hulking robot with little left, but still standing. Hopefully, if Box does survive, the interdimensional travel he faces will cure the dreaded zombie inducing disease!!!!

Alright, all done. Sorry again for holding everyone up. Poor Firelord. He's the only one on my team I actually WANT to level up, and not 1 stat point to be had.
