Although, I'm not sure why the 26b Marvel has that Trait? You going the route of SI where their base/first click looks similar but you have to really turn the dial to notice the differences?

I'd think the Card and opening RS vs Charge is enough to differ between the two? Or is it more of keeping the 60 slot system and adding several more characters via the a/b designation?

Actually, that's pretty much it! The dial tops will be the same (just like SI), so since Carol didn't have the ability to shoot.. well... anything in this version (her debut and initial series version)... yeah - the trait became necessary. Several of the Dark Avengers will have this treatment - keep a look out for some of 'em!

That seems like a lot of powers and high initial values for only 105 points. I do like the dial though, and as always your art is top notch.

Aww man, another Dr. Doom, Namor and White Queen? We just got them in SI and M&M, and good versions of them too.

I don't think I want this set now. It's just a bunch of remakes of figs we have that have nothing wrong with them...

I hate the fact this set is starting out better than HOT in nearly every facet.

Character choice - vastly superior.

Balance - much better understanding of HeroClix than HOT

Sculpts - well we know there might be 3 or 4 pieces in HOT that will be comparable to what we've seen already.

Timeliness: Dark Reign is now. HOT is, what? 1977? - I mean seriously, I still can't believe they green lit for design that set list. Its laughable in its narrowness.

Maybe Topps can get ahold of this set and get us players something more of us will be able to enjoy.

Wow - thanks! I'm really glad this project (which was suggested to me by a friend while we were grilling steaks for a UFC fight) has received such positive responses.

The character choices really revolve around the timeliness aspect... there's been a lot of change in the MU... change that lends itself well to some great team vs team battles! So between filling gaps in what exists already, updating to an extent and making figures are fun to mod... it's been quite a task. I will say that the unreleased Hammer of Thor set has actually been quite a challenge, as there are a lot of pieces in that set that if they weren't in HoT, they'd be in Dark Reign.

As for balance and the sculpts, all I can say is that I try. Some people love them, some people don't... but I do try to make them as fair, fun, and nice as I can. Hopefully even those who don't like a mod or disagree with a dial will see that my intention is to make these guys as cool as possible while 'fitting in' with the rest of the fairly recent sets.

So thanks again tyroclix!! Maybe Topps will see that with all these 'fan' sets coming out that there IS more life to HC - until then I'll keep doing what I do.

ok i see the cards for Ms. Marvel but where is the link to see the leaked fig?? or did i just totally miss it B^( much like any new set i dont care to much about the dials im more interested in the sculpts B^P ha ha for me dials come second and sculpts are the most important thing B^)
