"You sure this will work?" Fury asked Iron Man.

"If his armor works on the same generaly principles as mine, it should. And it looks like it does," Iron Man answered.

"Hawkeye, we got one shot at this," Fury said, handing the archer the device. "You're the best marksman here. Make it a good one."

Don't you worry about me," Hawkeye said, affixing the thing to the end of one of his shafts. Propelled forward by the agent in the Mandroid armor, Hawkeye let loose his arrow. It hit the Ultimate Iron Man square in the chest. In a second, all of Ultimate Iron Man's systems were down and he dropped like a rock to the earth. "Piece o' cake," Hawkeye said.

A successful turn perhaps but you've got so many pieces for me to target still. My losing Iron Man is much bigger than you losing Junkpile and Shield Agent.

Wasp to g6.

"Iron Man. Check. Black Widow, still up but mostly neutralized. We gotta bring down Thor," Fury said. "Mihalski, get me in close."

"Colonel?" the armored agent hesitated.

"You have your orders, soldier," Fury said sternly. The agent jumped to obey and used his armor's ability to move Fury in close enough to get a shot at Thor. Fury pulled an oversized rifle out of a holster on his back and blasted Thor with it.

"Odin's blood! I felt that," Thor said in surprise. "But you didn't finish me, and that's your mistake. And it'll be an expensive one."

"Backup!" Fury called.

"On the way," Iron Man said, the Falcon flying up right behind him. "I hate to do this to you Thor. You seem a really decent sort, but war's war."

"Typical just following orders mentality," Thor said. "Heaven forbid you should think for yourself."

"The psychological tricks aren't going to work," Iron Man said. His repulsors took Thor down.

"Sounds like you Ultimates aren't having a good day down there," Wolverine pointed out, catching Wanda with his claws, despite her attempt to hex him. "Then again, you're not having the best day up here either."

Hoo boy. Chances aren't looking good without Thor, Iron Man or Cap. I mean Quicksilver can't do it all by himself, right?

Hawkeye on Logan. Needs a whopping 9, gets 12. Been seeing a lot of these lately. Nice that this one will be me some good, too. To start he takes 2 and kb to D4, falling off the roof he takes 2 more and a 5th for the critical hit.

Widow on Logan then. Needs 3, gets 10. He's done.

Wanda on Trooper. Needs 8, rolls 7. 1 to him.

I don't expect the Ults to win, in fact I'd be glad to see SHIELD go on (after all, one Avengers team already made it). But I will put up something of a fight...

Re: Wolverine, I don't think he's quite out. He takes the 3 from Hawkeye first (base 2 +1 for the crit hit) then he gets knocked back off the roof (to B4 I think you meant). After the 3 clicks, Wolverine's on a Toughness click, so he takes 1 only from the fall. (The KB damage is a separate set of damage that happens afterwards.) Puts him at 5 damage. Iron Widow has to content with his Toughness, but she's got unused Outwit, so say she does her full 2, he's at 7. Optionally, she could choose not to Outwit his Toughness and only do 1 damage, so as not to leave him on a Regeneration click.

Right. I was looking at the wrong Wolvie. (Same sculpt). Widow outwits his cce, for no reason at all (since he's on a toughness/cce click)

Forgot to move Quicksilver though. He moves to G10 goes for Falcon. Needs 4, rolls 8. Falc's out. He ends at D8.
