I once ate a jalapeno so hot that milk didn't even help. My face got hot and turned red. I started to sweat. The pain was numbing, but not numbing enough to make it not hurt. Milk didn't help and I sat with it in my mouth for a while to try to make it work. It was excrutiating. I like hot, but not that hot. That was not fun. It took a long time for it to go away.
I like jalapeno peppers al dente. Like for Thanksgiving, I had a couple so as to liven up the turkey. They are crunchy and tasty. Now habaneros, on the other hand, you have to treat with some respect.
The cure for getting spiced off is plain bread. It "sponges" the sauce off the tongue.
One of the worst pains that I have ever felt is having put on contact lenses after eating food that had hot chile juice on it. I handled my contacts without thoroughly washing my hands. This resulted in the insides of my eyes to burn like someone had splashed me with hydrochloric acid. I almost doubled up with the pain. Needless to say, I ripped out the contacts and ran a faucet into my open eyes. Since then, I always wash my hands 200% after eating hot saucy stuff.

My ex once went to the bathroom after cutting up jalapenos. It was funny. We laugh about it now ...
And for the record about 3 tbsp of Dave's Insanity Sauce mixed into a brick of cream cheese makes a hellova partner for tortilla chips and a football game (try it with Franks Red hot first if you're too pansy to go for the gusto!).
Maybe there's a reason I'm sprawled on the floor with strangers pounding on my chest...
This sounds utterly incredible. May have to try that.
I make a hell of a buffalo chicken salad. Dip a Ritz in and go to town.
He'd be an awesome SK in a wine game. Eating all the wings as a food challenge. If you haven't watched that show do so now. I have now eaten at 7 restaurants he has been too.
OK, Day 1 closes at 10(ish). I have to work with a student at 9 and may not be able to close the thread right on time.
I'm calling that Night starts at 10:07 am EST (about 2 hours and 15 minutes). If you are reasonably certain you will survive the day, feel free to send in Night actions before the thread is closed.
Since this is A. my first game and B. going into a weekend, Day 2 probably won't start until late Saturday or maybe even Sunday morning.
