Hmm. Conceptually I like all of them, but in practice?
Well, first off, the keywords. It'd be nice if Diana came with Amazon, Bruce with Gotham and Clark with Metropolis. Why wouldn't they have these keywords? A case could be made against Diana having Amazon, but she should still have something else there - Warrior, perhaps, or even Spy or Soldier.
Then there's Bruce. I like the fact that he has Mastermind and Mind Control. I've long thought that there should be more Mastermind versions of Batman out there - he may not do it deliberately, but he still has a tendency to throw his allies under a bus to do what needs doing. The problem is that he's 33 points. With Mastermind. And it's not even thematic for him to work with a Street Thug. So I like him conceptually...I just wish that something more had been done with him.
As for Clark, although he's not bad, I think the fact that he has to perform a Power Action to use his ability will hinder him somewhat. First he has to move into position. Then he can do what he's going to do (generally speaking).
Still, as said: I like them conceptually. I think Diana's the only one I'll strive to win, though.
EDIT: Bystanders slipped my mind. Still, it'd be nice if the trio had a few more keywords.
I'm in Providence! I've been out of the hobby, but I'm looking for Saturday gaming. Send me a PM if you know the down-low!
Bruce seems like an odd figure. Mind Control makes a little sense because you can see him playing mind games with his enemies to give himself a chance to slip away and change into his Bat-outfit. Mastermind is a little weirder though.
Clark seems nice, but he'll probably be KO'd the turn following the one where he takes the opposing figure's Stealth away.
Diana is just the old Mockingbird dial with the slots jumbled around and Perplex thrown in.

Agreed, this is a little strange.
And I concur on how strange it is for Bruce not to be in position to MM to anyone - how could he not have Gotham City? And I'm not real sure I see how MM works for Bruce Wayne - though, I 100% get MC - this likely puts me in the minority.
Again, I'm REALLY surprised they didn't give these guys the AE SP, it would've made them far more enticing to the player.
Great. At least the R'as figure will fit right in on this map. It's funny. Two weeks ago I couldn't wait for this set. Now? Every preview I see makes me feel less thrilled.
Yes, any prize support is good. But their rules, their code...it's all a bad joke. You'll see. When the chips are down, these civilized people will eat each other. See, I'm not a monster. I'm just ahead of the curve.

Hmmm maybe some Compassion is what you need...
