Agreed. Methinks that folk will change their tune once they've had the fig in hand and played a few games with him.

Agreed again. Easy and inexpensive fix.

the pose is like that because the same sculpt is a different char with a different paint job. that's why. wasn't the other (ugh, blanking on his name) play fair JSAer in the same pose, prob same sculpt.

I think its been said enough about Johnny here, but the sculpts for this set range from amazing (Doomsday, Bane, Superman, Wonderwoman, White Lantern Sinestro) to complete garbage (Johnny Quick, Sgt. Rock, Easy Company Solider, Mr. Terrific I). I could go buy green plastic army men with more dynamic poses than this. Seriously, what is going on Wizkids/Neca?
I didn't notice it until you put the list together, but it looks to me like they're putting extra effort into the characters whom they perceive to be "guaranteed marketable" and phoning in the sculpts for the "less popular" characters--which tells me they just don't know their own customer base.

This is not true; the sculpts are not identical ( and I agree, nor should they be).

While it's always fun to speculate and play armchair quarterback, my jury is out until we actually see more of the figures.
But hey, that's just me.

As a huge Flash fan I am pumped to be getting Johnny Quick. I guess this is the Rookie version so it makes sense, but I am bummed about the lack of keywords to play him in a Flash centered theme team. He isn't keyworded with ANY Flash figures.
Having said that, it is only a minor gripe and will not prevent me from playing him in a comic accurate team often. He fits great on this team, allowing room for a few feats.
45 CR002 Kid Flash
84 CR010 Liberty Belle
71 BB023 Max Mercury
101 HT128 Flash
114 JL027 The Flash
50 DC010 Johnny Quick
465
For Modern Age, just swap out the HT Flash for AA056 The Flash and you get to 484.
Now if only we could get a legitimate Wally West as the Flash figure...
There is no point formula, goodness gracious. Why must everyone say something is broken when it clearly doesn't exist in the first place? I think the words "point formula" should become *&#*@ @@!$&^* whenever someone types them in, just so I never have to hear this tired, useless complaint again.
The difference between there being no formula or a broken formula is meaningless to me. In this game, things should be designed in a balanced way, and whatever means are used to get there should be working properly.
This piece is fine, but as usual, it gives more value for those points than most speedsters that preceded it. I said the same when Kid Flash came out. He's a fun piece, and so is this, but they (especially the Kid) cost too little.

Six of them in a 300 point game. By turn 3, you're crushing people.
And by that you mean turn 4.
1: first action
2: second action
3: clear
4: CRUSH PEOPLE!
He's a Nightcrawler and Con artist rolled into one. Those who complain about his activation click obviously aren't seeing him for what he is. The cheapest hypersonic speed piece in the game with a 10 attack and 3 damage, who can ALSO support your team in other ways. He is flat out a bargain, and an activation click is a very small price to pay.
Sculpt, as mentioned, is very sad. I had really high hopes for this set but it seemed what was leaked was some of the best. For every Dinosaur Beastboy there is a guy like this or Sargent Rock. I mean the sculpt is fine, we've certainly had worse (LUCAS LIIIIIIIITTLE!) sculpts, but it's a 1/10 on the dynamic scale.
