The veune I play at does a lot of last man standing matches. Where you can take any figure(based on points) and its a free for all. The winners of these matches depend on a lot factors obviously, but here is a list of the winners and the most feared(the one figure that was ganged up on by all the other players).

Unlimited Points(Non-Colossal) With Feats:
Winner-Spectre(Crisis)
Feared-Thor/Loki(three of them on the board)

Unlimited Points(Non-Colossal) No Feats:
Winner-Green Scar
Feared-Chase Superman(318pt)

Characters under 300pts, with Feats:
Winner-Thanos
Feared-Spectre

Character under 300pts, nofeats:
Winner-Morlun
Feared-KC Green Lantern


Everytime we do these, I am always amazed by the figures that "compete outside of their weight class". Morlun is feared by so many cause of the steal energy/indom combo that lets him not fear mystics, and allows him to stay in the game a long time. If you are going to do a one man army tourney, you might want to look at some of those outside the 250pt weight class that can hang in there with the big guns.

for me, it might as well been 'here, take 249 points for free'. Can't speak for anyone else, but I hate that piece because it look so appealing and it doesn't deliver
