There's either a marine or an ODST in one of the first pictures.

So the master cheif with the grenade things base says master cheif and aribitor... and is 200 points with duo fig ability.. but it has a sinlge mater cheif

I kind of like the fact that they are reusing sculpts from ActionClix.

I have converted a few sculpts over to Heroclix already just by sculpt swapping, but this will make it much easier.

And I don't really care about Master Chiefs and the aliens, so I can get by pretty cheaply on the Halo set.

#44 and #45 both definitely have a non-gold color on their rarity tab. It's shiny, but much more orange, which I assume is the color used for 'bronze' on the chase figures.

I speculated on this as well. I'm hoping they just haven't shown them.

Reach has been immensely popular, so I think it would be a good idea...

Then again: Six figures make for a pretty good Fast Forces pack, and that would also give us a Heroclix sized map. I'd be done for that if the quality is closer to the Green Lantern FF and not the SF FF.

I figure that at the least I can pop the sculpts off of my Noble Team actionclix dials and slap them onto the generic Spartan dials from the new heroclix set.

I have high hopes for the Halo set though. I'm hoping that Grunts and Marines have nifty minion abilities, Noble Team gets scarted into the set, and would really love if a new character or species from Halo 4 gets previewed in clix form.

343 really promotes their merchandising partners, it'd be nice if Wizkids returned the favor.

I suspect that if this set does well enough, the plan is to do a Noble Team pack, or a second set, which will feature Noble Team. It's the 10th anniversary of the original Halo, so it makes sense that their initial focus would be mostly on the original trilogy of games.

An ODST FF pack would be awesome too.

I'm thinking that figure was meant to be some sort of easter egg.

We've seen the proper Master Chief and Arbiter sculpt at SDCC.

The figure at GenCon was Master Chief holding a skull (aka 'oddball' or 'Yorick').

We know that at least two of the chase-colored figures are also numbered as part of the 45 figure set. Since the skulls are easter eggs to find in Halo, I'm thinking the sculpt actually belongs to some 46+ numbered chase figure.

maybe the chases got the WoS thing happening where they were planned as chases but then became part of the regular set?

So I think I have it figured out. I'm going to be easily spending close to spending 1000 between halo and superman that I wouldn't mind Hali being oushed back a week or two. Otherwise I'm gonna end up spending a while day opening boosters and it would be like heaven.

If I could afford to spend that much, I would, and I'd take the day off to make sure I can get a sealed game in release day (I work nights) just to make sure I've spent over 1000 :P
