Yes, we're all competitive at times, but one doesn't have to rub it in one's opponent's face because when they figure out how to beat said one they could very easily do the same face rubbing back...and no one likes that...where's Dirk Anger at? Uber-lock-down team forming in head...

^indeed, low point games can be humbling...my FCBD Iron Man layed some smack-down...never before and never since.

no... i like i said am a cool laid back guy. but if this was to happen to me. & it has, when i first started playing in tournaments. some 8 or 9 years ago. it was really competitive, nightcrawler with his hookers. or green lantern dropping his whole team in your starting zone. you lose with never getting a turn. but i didn't cry i just keep playing. started learning, & using there own tactics against them. i was a better player back then too. i'ld bring a fun time & everyone would love & have fun. but if some meta teamed me one week. i would meta team them back. until they after losing every week for a month. 2 month as long as it took for them to decide that everyone should be forgaven & loved again. then we where forgaven & loved & everyone had fun again.

all competition is warlike. & therein war is a competition. work, school, love. are all competitions, with WINNERS & LOSER. & you don't want to get caught on the wrong side of that line. so no one likes 2 lose.

why? you thinking of asking me out on a date? it doesn't matter. i've lost to a 12 yr before, & a 16 yrs. so you can either play or you can't. i didn't cry or get mad. he made a better team then i did. with 3 outwitters. the dr connors LE lizzard was one. it happens, yes he was 12 yr. did i wrote a post. saying HC REALMers please help me. how do i run this 12 yr off. he's too competitive. he used 3 outwitters on me.

Well actually RedDragon might have a point here.. With the exception of love (I would never view my love as an opponent, maybe my feelings). What Sun Tzu wrote was a set of principles to take to any environment with an opponent. As long as there is a perceived opponent standing in your way, then The Art of War can be applied. Once my college business organization professor assigned the art of war as required text. Now the question is: Does Sun Tzu have a place in collectible miniatures battling. Without getting caught up in this dispute, one-side has a point there is an opponent and a war like environment is occurring. However on the other hand, games are facilitated by the store and ran by appointed judges and in the end of the day it's the store and the judge who set the tone of the enviroment.
