well I got a KO, finally

Explosions rippled the ground, tossing grunts and brutes alike into eachother and the air. The grass was incinerated, leaving piles of death and decay. The Arbiter saw the attack coming and braced itself as best it could but even it couldn't withstand this assault. The team had been blasted by these intruders and they were pissed.

Before the smoke could even clear, a grunt and an elite lied dead on the blood stained dirt. The Arbiter, seeing this massacre brought a small black stone out of a compartment on its leg. It aimed the stone at the dead bodies, invoking some sort of foreign voodoo as it swung its arms. In a matter of seconds, the bodies of the creatures began to twist and writhe and eventually (despite their many wounds) they rose once again. Only this time they were bigger, stronger, and more ferocious. They ran off into the fray, taking several of their enemies with them, as the Arbiter watched and laughed.

Overconfidence though can be the downfall of even the most alien of beings. The Arbiter, knowing they would not be defeated, raised its beam rifle and fired on elevated assailant. Unfortunately, the blast was too low and hit the wall, causing bricks to fly off of it right into the Arbiter's head. Bamn! It needed to be careful, it could not use the stone on itself and its mistake may have just given that secret away.

The Last Son charges to A9, picking up the HO under the Elite on the way there, bringing it down on the Arbiter's head! 10 (+1 from perplex) atk. vs 16 def. Needs a 5. Roll is: (1,5) for a 6 and a hit! The Arbiter takes a total of 5 damage after toughness and is KO'ed! 1 SA and 1 KO to the Last Son but sadly no AST to either Doom or the Kid (if he hadn't crit missed that would have been an AST for both of them!). 2 more RPs for the Reign and the Arbiter will respawn with his Energy Blade on the Covenant's next turn.

Soaring over the heads of the gathered Covenant forces, the Last Son flies straight at their battle-commander without hesitation, a single, devastating punch sending the alien hero flying!
