I really just want a 150p and 300p hulk that can go up against superman.

We don't have a hulk yet that can give either superman a run for its money..

COME ON MAN!! you mean to tell me. someone could skip the regular set and gravity feed all together if they wanted a great hulk?? why is rampaging hulk still the best 'cheap' version?? why is green scar the best hulk every?? why do i possibly have to buy a fast forces to get a hulk that actually plays like the hulk??

there just is no reason. you have 3 shots at a classic character and 2 are a fail!!! have they not heard the meatloaf song, ''cause two out of three ain't bad' ?? i'm bout to go to work and this preview ruined my day. i hate to do it, but where is the playtesting?? how can it get past them looking like this?? i just don't get it. i guess this is what happens........smh!

If the next time I see this sculpt he aint wearing purple pants, I'mma start a RIOT up in here. Occupy NECA and all that.
I don't know if this Hulk is crazy competitive (I think not), but he is wacky fun to me. In fact, it seems to me this hulk and his mainset clone/cousin/brother from another mother, are crazy good at wrecking little army men, like that was what they were designed around, with the influx of generics and soldiers (Captain America set alone, not to mention checkmate and cops) these hulks are built to take on 3 or 4 guys at a time, not one big heavy hitter. They are crowd killers. Which, is kinda thematic for hulk, always wrecking Ross's sh*t, now he gets to break Fury's stuff too.

Now, do I want a solo hulk? a 200pt no f'n around, going toe to toe with most supermen and black adam? Yeah, but I'm not knocking some fun army bashers for not being a tentpole. We'll get him guys, I know it... Right after we get 150pt batman...

Anyone think we'll ever see a HULK with super strength and leap climb as Traits? That we can make room for some powers that aren't ####?

I'm thinking "design" was thinking the knockback power would be great with the regen because it lets him clear out opposing figures so he can regen comfortably.

But the lack of Indom means Hulk risks injuring himself AND getting caught flat-footed as he clears.

Any chance Indom is just missing? Or swapping the special powers? Can we complain enough and get it Powergirled in?

I'm just mad. Not at you. Not at anyone in particular. I know I'm ranting and raving like a fool. I have all of this bottled up anticipation that was once joy but has turned sour and mean, and I can't seem to diffuse it...over toys, which is stupid. I know. I'm sorry.

I try to be an optimist about every dial, but I have to say, even I'm a little disappointed by this Hulk. The lack of power synergy is just annoying. Flurry sucks points but you mostly can't use it because you'll knock people back? Comparing him to Rampaging Hulk (who has no problem getting up in someone's face) and Sabbac (a better bargain for the price) just kills this dial.

TOTALLY seeing a trend with this set- every Brick character's damage is one number too low on every slot. Each Hulk, Hercules, and She-Hulk are all Class 100 strength, and are nerfed in this set. We get Wonder Woman with multiple 5 damage slots, but the Marvel bricks get slighted. Sad.

Well, to be fair, only one of the last *eight* Wonder Women has had multiple 5 damage slots. And then before that, there were five Wonder Woman without before we have another with two 5 damage slots. And then there were five more Wonder Women without.

So, out of 19 Wonder Women, only two have multiple 5 damage slots. (Granted, not all of those are Diana, but most are.)

I can see the Flurry/Knockback having its moments. When Hulk has someone cornered by a wall or blocking terrain, or if he can knock someone off a roof.

While the dial synergy is not maximized, I cannot help but think the dial is pretty comic accurate.

I'm taken back to my youth when Banner was seperated from the Hulk and he was basically a mindless, rambling beast. The Avengers were called in to stop him. He just shrugged all of thier attacks off. Then they dogpile on him and he effortlessly knocks away Namor, Wonder Man, Thor and the rest. The Flurry/KB SP makes perfect sense if not "min/max-able".

How many times have we seen people shoot at the Hulk, only to make him mad and then they try to get up close and tangle with him only to have him swat them away with one mighty swing?

Sorry, but this Hulk is perfectly comic accurate for the points. You cannot use the "Outwit his defense and he's toast" argument. It applies to pretty much any figure that has a damage reducer and is not immune to Outwit...

Personally, I'd have liked the Damage SP to be a trait (adding L/C), give him Indomidable, tweek the stats and add another 100 points. Then he'd be perfect... but I still think he's accurate/playable for 145 points.

This could be one of the best Card mistakes ever.

He'd be playable with the Defenders TA and keyword on a Defenders team. As is ... I'll be reaching for another Hulk.

I'm still liking the majority of the Hulk set and the GF however. Splitting a GF display with a friend and only getting a brick of Hulk (not because I hate the set, but because there's less figures in the set I'll probably pull a CUR out of just a brick along with the usual 2 to 4 SR's).

That and with the holidays I have to get presents for other people, not just for myself
