Gona be fun. Will it be paired in a way that soldiers will only fight machines? I have feeling there will be more people with soldier teams. But we shall see.
I think I will try to make at least the FIRST round robots vs. "Military" but we'll see what everybody is using. I usually make up at least 3-4 teams for people to use if they don't have enough figures or the right figures, so I think I might just make all Robot armies to lend out as I expect there will be that kind of imbalance as well.

Just wanted to put a preliminary notice out to everybody out there that may plan on attending our Month 3 Infinity Gauntlet event. It was originally scheduled for March 21st, but to better accomodate all players, we are moving it to March 28th. The good news is that you get another week to test out your team. The bad news is you get another week to stress out and obsess over it.

May have to miss it now as the wife's b-day is the 27th and I am not sure when she wants to celebrate it with a night out. Our original plan was that Wednesday as our IG event was the week before.
And yes, before you ask, I do plan my wife's birthday around my clix schedule. Just don't tell her that.
Wanted to get this on the newest page and with the corrected dates on their.
(March 7th) 400 points "Insta-Kills"
Critical Hits automatically KO figure(s) targeted by an attack, Critical Misses automatically KO attacking character. (Support power is not effected by this rule)
(March 14th) 317 points "St. Patrick's Day"
All figures must either be Irish and/or be green. They can also be wearing green, but it must be the dominant color on their costume.
*Please note the odd point total. This will effect theme teams!
(March 21st) 500 points "Bizarro World"
All figures that you play with start on the last click of their dial and as they take damage, turn their dial in the opposite direction (counter-clockwise) so they technically get "Healthier" as they take damage. Using support or regeneration turns the dial backwards (clockwise)
(March 28th) INFINITY GAUNTLET MONTH 3
300 points Modern Age (Everybody gets a Power Gem participation prize. The Champion LE figure is awarded to 1st, 2nd, and Fellowship)

I've got a question. When using GSX Prof. X and using HYDRA TA do the modifier figs need to be adjacent to him or the figure he's using to make the attack?

I would imagine that I wouldn't work together, as the would need to be based to the attacker (Prof.X) and have line of sight to the target, which unless the target was close (at which point why is Prof.X using his ability) it wouldn't work.
I'm not a rules expert, but this is my understanding.
Well I guess in that case I would use it if he was out of range. Hydra can be any range as long as they have line of fire. But otherwise yea it'd be sorta pointless
The Hydra guys would have to be next to professor x and would have to have line of fire to the target no matter which square the Professor was targeting from.
This is because they have to be adjacent to the person actually making the attack.

Got it. Good to know. Well I had a great time comin out both times. But I must return to the river this Wednesday. Usually I live on a boat for the 3 weeks but there's a slight chance they might keep me in Lemont harbor some time during my trip. When this happens I work 12's and on my time off am free to do what I please. I don't expect it to happen but if it does I'll try to make it out if possible. Good luck and hope everyone has a great time in the upcoming events.
Quick question bout the 28th. Are ATA's allowed? And to be clear the point cost covers each person with the preq keyword right or is it individually assigned?

ATA's are indeed allowed. I don't believe that they have ever retired ATA's. The point cost on the ATA is multiplied by however many characters are assigned it per team. Anybody on your team that has the keyword that is on the ATA has to pay the cost on the card.
So, if you have 8 characters that have the Thunderbolts keyword on your team and you are playing with the Thunderbolts ATA, you have to pay the cost of the ATA x8.
You may only have one ATA assigned to one team but not all members of the team have to be able to use the ATA.
Hopefully this answered your question.

going great. We had visitors from the Graham Crackers Naperville this week when Brian and AL stopped by. Brian took first place and my Wife Jonna got fellowship. The misfortune prize went to Berger with his missing three attack rolls by only one three times in a row. Next week is our Bizarro game at 500 points.
