Last turn, when Black Widow tried to attack Archangel, but he made his Shape Change roll. That was still an action for her. So attacking him this turn is a push. OK?
Tigra leaps next to Morph and kicks him off the hill. "You X-Men have sunk pretty low to attack kids. Still, if I had to hear the Cho kid talk about how he's 7th smartest in the world I might have clocked him, too."
Funny, I've been struggling with Hulk's 19DV all along and it's he himself knocks him off it.
I don't really know him, but this seems like a perfect opening for Orphan. With Sneak. He attacks She-Hulk, AV11 on DV17. Gets 8. 2 to She-Hulk and no more Perplex.
Jamie to Incap the Hulk, AV9 on DV18. Gets 4.
Deadpool on Nova, AV12 on DV18. Deadpool rolls a 2. Ew.
Meggan Perplexes Hulk's DV to 17.
Juggernaut on Hulk. AV11 on DV17. Gets 10. Imperv is 6. Juggernaut takes 1 for pushing.
"I thought I knew all the X-Men, but I don't recognize you," She-Hulk told the newcomer.
"That's because I was never really with the X-Men," Orphan explained. "I was with more of a splinter group of a splinter group. We called ourselves X-Statix."
"Of course you did," She-Hulk said.
"Also, I can sense where you might be vulnerable. Like how you love your powers, but you're afraid they will forever keep you from finding a lasting, fulfilling relationship." She-Hulk's mouth flapped as if she was trying to say something in reply, but nothing comprehensible came out. "Also that there's a nerve cluster here that if I hit it just right will numb your arm." He struck quickly, and the effect was just as he said.
Hulk on Juggernaut. Needs 5, rolls 3. Getting tired of these rolls. I mean this is Hulk here....!
She-Hulk tries to give some back to Orphan. Needs 5, rolls 7. SS is 4, he takes 3.
Beast rolls to break. 1. Attacks Orphan then. Needs 7, rolls 5. Wow, I'm really needing probability control here. He'll outwit Orphan's ew. Oh wait, Beast has pummel: gets 9 but ss is 6.
Angel couldn't see the Widow where he is but with 3 damage he can charge up next to her to do the damage. You just need to place him. Natasha can't attack this turn anyway but she will outwit his blades.
She-Hulk responds instinctively. Orphan numbs her right arm so she hits him with a left hook. "How about that for a loving, lasting relationship, hmmmm?" she retorts.
Meggan taxis Deadpool. Meggan to H14, I13 for Deadpool.
---------------------
Xavier on Cap, AV9 on DV17. Gets 5.
---------------------
Archangel does push to Charge, attacks Widow, AV10 on DV16. Gets 8. Doesn't need a blades roll. 2 KOs her. He goes back to the main game.
"You can't get away from me, Natasha," Angel said, chasing after her with all the speed at his disposal, which was considerable.
She turned to hit him with her widow's bite. But he was moving too fast for her to draw a bead on him and in a split second he was on her. As soon as he disposed of her, he was returned the mountain.
"Angel's back!" Jamie called out. "Where'd you go."
"The Black Widow and I had a little dance. She won't be coming back."
Nova should be in H15, not that it matters. He attacks Juggs. Needs 6, rolls 9. Impervious is 1, he takes 1.
Enter Hawkeye, the Chaos War one. Justice tks him to H5. He'll Thunderbolt to Ultimates, I suppose. He targets Madrox & Orphan. Rolls 7. Oooo....dilemma. Actually Hawkeye's in a pretty good place to do some damage here. First off he'll complete this attack: Orphan rolls for ss, but Madrox in K9 is koed. Hawkeye will pick on Archangel again and drag him to the duel.
Tigra on Orphan. Needs 6, rolls 10 ( 2 5s). SS is 1. BCF is 3. So Orphan takes 3 and kb to L9 where he tumbles off the roof for a ko.
Hawkeye and Archangel are in the Street fight map. I roll a 4 for placement and slip Hawkeye in K21 with Archangel in I21. Hawkeye tries to ko Archangel. Needs only 4 to do it, rolls 11. Warren's out, Hawkeye gets a second token and returns to the starting area.
Hulk AVM 202 (1) J13 (Shellhead)
Nova GG 201 @ H15
Beast GX H8 (Pummel) (Traitor-2)
Hawkeye CW @@ H2 (Thunderbolts to Ultimates)
Tigra V (Sneak) @ I10
She-Hulk K10 HU204 (2) K11 (Pummel)
Captain America 204 AWM @ H2 (4) (Contingency Plan-3)
Justice E (2) @ H3
Quite a turn you had there. I have to do three replacements.
Speaking of which, thanks for linking to that list. A few there I was unaware were ever affiliated with them, like Cloak & Dagger.
So obviously some TK is in order, but that's something the X-Men have no shortage of. Let's use Polaris for that. Could use some PC, so let's go with Longshot. And then Mimic to hit you with.
Longshot moves to K15
Deadpool on Hulk, AV11 on DV18. Gets 11. Imperv is 1. Finally a good hit on the Hulk, for 3 after reduction.
Juggernaut on Hulk, AV10 on DV17. Gets 5. Longshot makes it 10. Impervious is 3. 2 more to the Hulk. Finally I'm getting somewhere.
Mimic gets Rip It Up, HSS to H16, pulling up a rock, attacks Nova. AV10 on DV18. Gets 7. Ooh, who can I pull? Got to be someone within 25 points. Only one that qualifies is She-Hulk. I can do that. I take back the move on Nova, so that I can take first shot on She-Hulk.
Jamie to Incap the Hulk, AV9 on DV17. Gets 4.
Polaris moves to M20, since with the different elevations, she can't use her TK that well from the first level.
Hulk on Juggernaut. Needs 6, rolls 5. I'd love to see how good a figure this Hulk was if he didn't miss on every frickin' roll. Apparently he needs like 6 Scarlet Witches to work.
Beast charges to H11 going for Jamie. Needs 7, rolls 6. Again with the crap roll. This game is either really hot or cold for me. Wait...he has pummel: 4. Anyway Beast outwits Jamie's incap.
As for the She-Hulk/Mimic battle, they can''t start 5 squares apart. You roll a 6 sided die and subtract two. Not that it matters. Assuming Mimic ended where he shows on the map, She-Hulk will l/c to be adjacent to him.
"Now, now Jamie," the Beast says leaping over to the final Multiple Man, "Don't think we'd forget about you. I know you need to keep busy in order to avoid getting too many duplicates going. I'd be a shame to see that happen seeing as how we just got rid of so many of them!".
But the final Jamie Madrox easily dodges the Beast's attack. "C'mon Hankie-Boy, do you think a normal attack is going to do anything against me? You don't think I've studied your every move. You wanna get to me, you'll have to do better."
