I wholly endorse the continuing trend of characters that can use MC without taking feedback damage.
As for this Dr. Crane, I'm digging it. He can hang in the back, boosting his allies until he gets the chance to move up and put that poison/MC to work. I would've preferred PC over SC in the "alternative defense" department, even a form of PC that he could only use on himself. But that doesn't matter.
As for his lower AV, combo him with Sgt. Joker and that 9 becomes an 11. Then add the Outwitter of your choice (of which there will be plenty in a Batman set) and go to town!
I have to agree that with no stealth, shape change or even CR this peice is gonna go down hard. I was really expecting some PB in his attack and I for one am not likeing the sculpt it screams "look at this new watch I baught!".
Maybe if he had Shape Change on his opening click then I'd like him more. He just seems too fragile for 85 points of finesse piece.
Mostly though, I just don't think Poison is at all a good way to represent his fear toxin. In Batman Begins the fear toxin really messes Batman up for a while, but there isn't a SINGLE CLICK on either of the Batman figures we've seen for this set where that Poison could be used against Batman.
I think a modified version of Poison that gave Action Tokens instead of damage would be better way of representing the paralyzing (but not physically damaging) effects of the fear toxin. (Yeah, I know they gave him incap, but we all know that's a very situational power on a figure like this.)
I agree. I think if you have a Batman sporting a lot of damage reducers, Scarecrow should deal out action tokens with his Poison rather than 1 damage.
But that doesn't indicate any inaccuracy in this figure, but a lot of inaccuracy in the defense powers of the Batmen in this set, in my opinion.
Did we get clarification if the movie team abilities count as the same as the non-movie versions? If so, Holiday Killer will be a nice companion (but then, he is for all Bat enemies :-) )

it functions as normal...this is commen word since I starting d posting about it
SWeems lie ka lot of poitns for this diall!!! but, the potenteial is great... with 3 R con ARTSITS, metron, in contact with oracle, 3-4 outwitters like bruce awayne lE< batman, rbin, nightinw, dick greyson, todd star, todd mcfarlane, etc, V icons superman and also gamma BOMB, he can be a reall TENTPOLE!!! ""FINESSE""" PIECE INDEED clix fans@!!!! only for professional... clixers like myseolf. do not show up ot the LC BS with this peice on a comicurrate team or you wil ldie
Plasticity? Because that's what I want with a dial that has no defensive powers whatsoever for the first two clicks. While this piece has the potential to be a game change,r without at least stealth he's looking like a free 80 points, even in sealed event games with the set he's from. Let's hope we get a better version in the "regular" Batman set.
Most of the arguments why this character is comic accurate and how he's effective through *gasp* strategy have already been made. I'd like to reiterrate that his low stats balance the fig and keep it from being broken and there are obvious work arounds to those such as batman enemy TA and the fact that defend is your friend. The complete synergy of his powers is evident. Plasticity and poison and CR always go together. Dont lead with crane's glass jaw. Push him around to pick at stragglers til his dial can handle a sea of opponents with soft defenses
