Not a lot for me to do here. It's odd, I'm finding a much harder time playing the X-Men. They're a great team, still probably the best in the game, but I'm just lacking synergy here.
Marrow to M14.
Kitty to K5 carting Marrow to J4. Probably a bad move, maybe not.
Nova on Danger, AV11 on DV15. Gets 10. Danger makes it 8. SS is 5 though.
Simon on Danger, AV10 on DV15. Gets 10. SS is 2. 3 to her.
Black Knight on Danger for the KO. AV9 on DV14. Gets a 2. Oh, Dane.
Songbird TKs Luke to N7
Luke Charges to K7 in an attempt to finish Danger. AV10 on DV14. Gets 6 and now she's out. Blew any chance I had of blocking her replacement with those misses though.

"Let's turn this robot into just so much scrap metal," Nova said, blasting at her. In a perfectly timed move, Danger evaded his charge, setting it up so that he collided with the Black Knight instead. "Sorry," Nova apologized.
"Enough of your tricks," Wonder Man said, catching Danger in a crushing hold, pinning her arms to her side. "Luke, care to do the honors?"
"Knock the block off this Rock 'Em Sock 'Em Robot? Damn straight I would." Cage finished with an uppercut that did in fact take Danger's head right off her neck.
Siryn rs to H8 and pulses. Rolls 3. Hits nobody. Wait. Iceman has pc: 10. Hits Knight, Swords, Wondy & Luke for 1 plus all get a token. For Luke & Knight that's a push.
Colossus in for Danger. Wish he was a better figure but he's a favorite character. I'll use the MU version and pit him just for more use. Wonder man is the bigger threat. Needs 7, rolls 8. SS is 1. 3 to Simon after hitting the wall. Kinda wished I'd gotten the 7 though. And what's with Wonder Man without damage reducers?

Luke's actually protected from Siryn's PUlse Wave by the Blocking Terrain in J8. Nova on the other hand, is not. He's takes the hit and token as well.
All the action tokens she's handed out leaves me with absolutely zip to do in the main game, so onto the duels.
No, I'm wrong. Swordsman's got Willpower. He needs a 9 to hit Sarah and to get past SS. OR, I could just Force Blast her. I'll just Force Blast her. Gets a 2. Not high enough to do her and damage, but gets her away from him to L2.

Iceman rs to N9 to incap Wonder Man. Needs 7, rolls 2. Ridiculous. This is the third turn with at least 1 1 in it. I guess I need to give all my guys lucky break as a feat. Grrr. Wait, Iceman's got pc: 4. Still a miss but I'll take it.
With a turn this junky I'll chance drafting Professor X. The GX version although I'll admit every version, even the newest, has it's pluses. Mental shields on him. Through Iceman he'll attack Simon. First he outwits his invulnerable. Needs 8 with his shellhead, rolls 9. PB gives him two.

Should be but they are. And obviously Phoenix types only help so much. Maybe the opposite will work....inundate the Avengers with little figures? Make their advantages work against them?
Marrow should show in L2 now, after Swordsman's Force Blast.
Realize I didn't clear off a lot of my tokens last turn. Luke, Wonder Man, Nova and Black Knight all should have cleared.
Nova takes Cap's Contingency tokens and ups his AV to 11 to attack Siryn, DV17. Gets 8, SS is 5. Grr.
Black Knight on Siryn, AV7 on DV17. Gets 7. Hmmm, he'll pull Siryn into a duel. He won't win, but it messes up your positioning and keeps her from Pulse Waving again.
Wonder Man will got for the Regen roll. Gets 4 and gets back the 2 he took from Xavier.
Luke on Colossus, AV10 on DV17. Gets 7. I will do to you what you did to me, and skip the attack to pull Xavier into a duel. It's 25 exactly. This Xavier is not designed for this type of game. Thought you might have learned from my mistake.

For Luka and Charles, they're ont he Airbase map and I roll a 5 for spacing, so 3 squares. Nothing Luke's Charge can't fix. Luke Charges, picks up the light object that's lying around and tries to smack Carles with it. AV10 on DV16. Gets 10. SS is 3. That's 4 to Charles, and the doulbes cause KB. Without planning it that way, I did position them in suck a way that Charles does hit a wall for a 5th click. The Black Knight swung his Ebony Blade at Siryn, and as he did so, their surroundings changed. Standing on the roof of a Japanese temple, they faced off alone, all their teammates gone. "Huh, that was weird," the Black Knight said.
"When you're an X-Man, weird happenings are pretty much an everyday occurrence," Siryn pointed out.
"You could say the same for the Avengers, I guess," the Black Knight shrugged and closed with Siryn.
Meanwhile in another place, Luke found himself up against Professor Xavier. "Damn!" Luke cursed and moved before Xavier could orient himself and use his mental powers on the former Hero for Hire. He smacked Xavier out of his chair with a signpost. "I'll apologize later. For now, I can't give you a second to find your balance."
