With the many wackos that are out there these days, if I was an artist I would not accept food from any fans - unless they were personal friends of mine. Nothing personal, Carlos - just remember that usually they are sitting there drawing sketches and touching paper. That kinda stuff doesn't mix well with food. Just saying...

My in-laws live less than a mile away from me, and I prefer them around to my parents. Well, I'd like my dad to live here instead of Minnesota. My mom annoys the hell out of me.

Oh well, good day for us yesterday. The fire's advance into town was slowed and is not any closer to my house. And, tonight is Board Game night. May get to play Eclipse. Never played it before, but it looks intriguing.

Though, to echo Quebbs' sentiment, that's pretty much how I feel about my dad. The distance has improved our relationship over the years.

I need to level up my pathfinder character...not sure what I can choose for my level 5 Oracle now. I kept rolling 20's last game X_x. Then I rolled a 1...and burnt down some guys warehouse .

Hey now, dont get me wrong. I love my mother with all my heart. I miss the relationship we used to have. She and i were so very close and did so much together.
Then our relationship changed/died when she met her boyfriend 13 years ago. I cant stand to see her allow someone to treat her like that. He is verbaly and mentaly abbusive to her. I have tried to help her leave a few times but she just changes her mind. The first time he and i got into a verbal fight he spat on me and my mother just stood there and didnt say or do anything. They had only been together a few months. I try to stay involved but its hard. he makes up stories about me and she believe them. She is so easily infuenced by him and i hate it. I will always hope that someday we can have a close relasionship again. I know it wont be the same but it would be something.
