Well. That's certainly a curveball, but it's twists like these that make things exciting!
Turn 10. (Am I still on a 12-turn time limit? If so I don't know if I'll make it...)
His vision cloudy and his head pounding, Batman throws himself against the Top's force field projector with a mighty heave, knocking the wind out of the manic Joker and forcing him to let go. Then he staggers away, trying to get some distance on the Joker so he can bring his gadget arsenal to bear.
"Robin! Help..." he groans into his commlink.
Robin rushes to his mentor's aid.
(Leadership roll: 4. 2 actions.
Batman takes 4 squares of knockback, and clears.
Robin spends a Contingency Plan token to raise his Speed to 8 and run to L5.
Batman gets a Contingency Plan token.

A question: Unless I get a critical hit, I cannot now KO Joker before the 12-turn mark. So what happens on that mark? Does the scenario end in some kind of draw? Do I lose?
Batman smiles grimly as Robin gets into position, and signals an attack maneuver. Then he turns back to engage the Joker, slower now than last time, more cautious.
As he closes in on Joker, he throws a few perfunctory punches-too perfunctory, as it turns out. They're meant to be feints but they don't distract the Joker nearly enough. With him weaving around like a maniac instead of staying in place, Robin's self-propelled Batarang goes wide, its rudimentary guidance systems unable to fix a proper target lock.
(Leadership roll: 3. 2 actions.
Batman Leap/Climbs to F12.
Robin spends a Contingency Plan token to raise his Range to 7 and pushes to attack Joker. 2,3+9=14 vs. 16, a miss!
Batman Outwits the Joker's Perplex.

Turn 12
Batman is nonplussed, and has to consider the possibility of a trick, but hesitates only an eyeblink before pouncing on the Joker and tackling him to the ground. The Clown Prince of Crime had the upper hand until he threw it away, but as worn-down and hurt as he is, this is familiar territory for the Batman. No more gadgets, tricks or traps. Just himself, the Joker and two pairs of fists.
(Leadership roll: 6. 3 actions, not that it matters.
Batman pushes to attack Joker. 5,6+7=18, vs. 16 is a hit for 1. Batman Outwits Joker's Perplex.
Robin clears.
Batman gets a Contingency Plan token.

Batman wakes up, struggling to recall what is going on. As it turns out, there is a heist going on, and Batman had just been momentarily stunned, dreaming of the whole thing.
(I will still give you the XP and AP though. I've updated your team blog).
Your next mission is a Heist. It's self-explanatory on what's going on, but here's the special rules.
Good force starts anywhere in A-B 9-16. Evil force starts anywhere in I-J 9-16. The Good force is attempting to stop the Evil force, who must try to get as much loot as possible and get off the map. To do this, the Evil force must first destroy an imaginary piece of blocking terrain on M10. Once this is done, any friendly character given a move action ending their move inside the vault receives a Loot token(N-P 9-11). Once this has happened, that character must attempt to exit the map off of the west edge.

Kraven takes steady aim at the safe door, and blows it to kingdom come (destroys the blocking terrain).
Nitro walks calmly towards Batman, Batgirl, and a terrified business woman, a smile on his face (moves to I13). "What's the matter? Afraid of a living bomb?!? You should be."
Kraven then outwits Batgirl's Willpower.
The business woman trips on her attempt to get away, and Nitro places his foot on top of her, and begins to glow (break away roll was a 1).
The movie star quickly starts moving towards the exit, hoping no one sees the anguish on their face (moves to G22).
