I am unsurprised at the rampant nerd-rage. People around these parts get angry about things that no grown-up human ought to get angry about. Instead of just asking his fans for recommendations for fun comics featuring Death's Head, they're complaining that they've never read a comic with him in it. For the record, he was a main character in the S.W.O.R.D. miniseries that Kieron Gillen wrote three years ago, if you want something recent, relevant, and well-made starring the dude. And, y'know, if you still have any room for joy in your hearts.

I voted for both Sleepwalker AND Death's Head, a few times a day. I would have also voted for Ikon, 3-D Man, Mangog, or Xemnu, if they were in the top 3. Because all those characters are fun (remember fun?), and I hope they all get 'clixed soon.

But I am super-stoked about getting a Death's Head figure. And no amount of nerdly grumbling can bring me down on that one.

Sorry I have no love for this Robo Lobo.

A) Being a character in a 5 part miniseries does not a relevant character make. (And the writer's Blog hardly mentions anyone but Beast.)

B) This high and mighty "you guys lost stop crying and ruining our fun" attitude is incredibly annoying. Why don't you be magnanimous in victory instead of petty? This isn't just directed at HH.

C) After researching Death's Head a bit, I would enjoy finding some of the older comics with him in it and reading them, so don't dare accuse me of arbitrary character hate.

Ya know, From your previous posts to this one you keep saying you're sorry for being excited but everyone should let you celebrate. All i see beside some posts say yea he was chosen and boo it wasnt the character i wanted is you saying how terrible sleepwalker fans are and that their character didnt matter anyway. There is such a thing as a jerk winner. I voted sleepwalker and my 2 second choices were DH and mangog. Am i disappointed, hell ya, first time i saw this koke he was being killed by his counter part and i didnt really care much for the series after that....being a child with limited funds. Sleepwalker showed up with characters i cared about and was actually in regular marvel canon. And he was an interesting character. True maybe not the greatest idea known To Comics at the time but it definitely made for an interesting one. I always saw him as an marvel martian manhunter with some differences. enjoy the hunk o metal.......i really dont see why he's needed but w/e. Ill enjoy the next set.....To this one i say, meh.

Every round a vote from me went to Death's Head. I just hope that Sleepwalker got that second place, and that WK realizes that when you have a 100 vote difference between the top 2 that they will also make Sleepwalker.

Did the fans get trolled here? I know who both Deaths Head and Sleepwalker are. I read Sleepwalkers book in the 90s...at least he had his own book. With that said has Deaths Head even been seen nice like 1994?

It's kind of a stream of consciousness, so I don't feel I can really comment beyond that.

I'm glad something unclixed won (most of the choices were). I also find it interesting that some people here are saying that this vote wasn't stolen, and also say that they voted several times a day (while asking others in their workplace to do the same). This vote was never going to be accurate, one fan with knowledge of how to spam internet polls (it's very easy) could ruin the whole dang thing.

To play devil's advocate, Death's Head had his own book, and what's Sleepwalker been in since 1994?

A) I meant more that the story was relevant. The character is certainly obscure, but S.W.O.R.D. is a fairly recent example of why he's a fun character.

B) I don't mind somebody being disappointed, it's the overt hostility that gets to me.

C) You weren't really the target of my rant, because your response was "Eh" and that's fine, I felt "Eh" about Ms. Ghost Rider. I'm more bothered by the folks who are totally raging out.
