A chance? You know we're getting at least three Nightwings.
Lol. At minimum. Remember, this is WK's and were likely to get one in the FF, one in the GF and at least 3 in the Main Set. Then we've got Chases/LE's and who know's maybe they'll toss him in as a Con LE!
Still waiting on that White Lantern Batman...

I pray every day to God, then to the heroclix gods which are obviously false idols since very few of those actually come true - such as WL Batman...
Where is the HeroClix Game Design e-mail than, who do I have to e-mail for this to matter? I still feel everyone e-mailing the oranges, who I think some are semi-affiliated with the rule decisions, makes a difference.
Guys, I would like to take a moment and address this if I may.
Firstly, I am not defending nor condemning the decision that was made. It was made and the reason was presented by the Deputies.
Secondly, spamming the Rules email is only going to punish folk who may have legitimate rules questions, as their inquiries become buried by folk asking "Why?" or demanding "Change it back". This doesn't help anyone I'm afraid.
If folk would like to continue to debate the merits of the decision here, amongst their peers in the community, I say great! That's one of the many reasons the Realms is here. Beyond that, the Rules team has made the position of the ruling pretty clear.
I hope this helps. As always, thanks for your continued interest and support.

So by debate amongst my peers you mean complain alongside everyone else and never have this looked at again? Okay.
Agreed and signed. Two of my favorite new characters because I like to play crazy teams.
They were not broken in the least. They were just fun. Even though I liked running Nightwing and/or Gandalf in a Skrulls team, I'm fine with them restricting the keywords to in Universe. But as of now, breaking theme (and having minimal keywords) and not allowing ATA usage makes them very less fun to play.

I'm sorry you guys feel that my asking you to not spam the Rules email draws to that conclusion. That simply isn't what I said.
Again, I'm not saying anything about the Ruling, I am saying "Please do not spam the Rules email". There is a difference.
I understand that folk feel passionately about this. I get that, but hostility doesn't help anyone.
I hope this helps.

Errata should be used to fix things that are broken. These were in no way broken. If you want to errata something make it so the Bug doesnt have a million clix at 130 or so points....

It doesn't, and that's the problem. There's a very strong feeling here that no one at WK is listening to us. And by "no one" I mean "no one that can do anything about the situation." I can understand you being only the messenger. I can understand the "oranges" only being able to rule as written/errata'd.
But you as messenger and they as rules deputies can't explain to us why this change was made, or why this was a change that was considered important enough to make over addressing any other number of issues we as players have with game design and balance, and no one that could ever actually explain it will ever actually speak to us. We don't have a way to communicate with GD, and GD doesn't communicate with us directly either, only through entries in the PG.
Why did this change need to happen? What was so broken about Nightwing and Gandalf belonging to any theme team that it HAD to be errata'd away? "Not as intended" is too vague, too noncomital, and too focused on a problem that really doesn't affect us as players. It reeks of an excuse. But as of right now, it's the only answer we'll get. And that's my biggest problem with the change.

Nobody wants to spam the oranges. Well, at least for this. People want to spam the idiots who came up with this incredibly stupid, pointless "errata" that does nothing but nerf the hell out of a truly fun mechanic on two pieces and buff a random golden age piece that is OBVIOUSLY not how any of them were designed, under the pretense of changing it to intent. The rules team is essentially always on the side of "read by the letter" instead of intent, so it's even weirder these pieces got errata when nobody was complaining. Congrats on fixing something that wasn't broken, when we still can't even get an answer for intent on a lot of things, like Tabapp Thor's Mjolnir's Song power being a replacement effect in HCO but not how the oranges rules it, the weirdness that is Tabapp Superman's Strength From The Yellow Sun power that has an unfortunate use of the word "reduce" in it, and Sauron's Frozen With Fear power, that can still work on things that have first round immunity because nobody cares 'cause it's golden age, which didn't stop anyone from changing Noh-Varr or Gandalf. It shows a gross lack of prioritization. How many people actually work on this game, Munchoboy? Like four? 'Cause with the way things have gone over the last year, it seems like it.
PS: If they changed this because of being able to pilot vehicles and still have theme team bonus, screw that. That would mean vehicles are the problem, not these guys. You could have said "These have unintended consequences with vehicles" and people would have probably said, oh, yeah, ok (still doesn't explain Noh-Varr though). But no, bad communication creates outrage. Suprise!

Well, the thing is...they have absolutely no reason or incentive to listen to us, unless we communicate in the ONE way they care about: with our wallets.
The game is pretty good. Virtually impossible at this point for new people to pick up in all its intricacies and little exceptions/terminology, though, and so existing customers who are "addicted" keep the game afloat.
It bothers me when people call themselves "plastic crack addicts" on public forums, when people type "Oh! What a great preview, now I'll have to buy TWO cases(!)," and other non-sensical crap that just communicates one thing to the company:
Make any old sh!t and we'll buy it. I'm an addict, don't you know...
Oh, they know...believe me, they know.
So weird game-breaking pieces like Ziran and Chanos act as 'golden tickets' and IG and UB propel the tournament scene (said scene used to sell more boosters, no problem with that) and that's it. Game design puts out new mechanics all the time, many poorly tested (if at all), issue weird verdicts like this one, metagame pieces... In the meantime, my "rare" Deathstroke from SoG looks like it was painted by a child.
"But at least we have a game! Remember when the game was gone?"
Yeah, I do...do you? What the hell were you doing during that time? Did you fall into some sort of catatonic state ala Joker in Dark Knight Returns? Or did you play as much as you ever did, with the hundreds of clix in your collection? Or did you maybe even move on to some other thing in life, and it really wasn't so bad.
Until people remember that Wizkids needs us, not the other way around, and are willing to act based on the truth of that, there is ZERO reason for Wizkids to listen to complaints...they are too busy listening to how there are so many clix-addicts out there.
All this over two commons? Come on guys, there are better versions of both characters. . .
It's over them changing rules, one of the few completely understandable ones at that, that had no business being changed. Doesn't matter to me if it's on a common or a con exclusive, it's dumb either way.
