They did that with the most recent MK also. You played as every character over the course of the campaign. It was neat.

Anyone else try the mobile version? I just loaded it up on my iPhone, was able to toy around with it for about five minutes, but it seems pretty neat.

I tried it also, but it's not really my cup of tea. I really prefer turn-based on my mobile devices.

Also, their Facebook site just showed a trailer for Green Lantern vs...Green Lantern. It looks like Yellow Lantern Hal is going to be a bit more than just a palette swap, as he also has dialogue relating to fear. Didn't quite call him Parallax though.

And their FB feed just confirmed Ares and Killer Frost as playable.

I didn't really like Ares' voice, but his ultra move is an awesome "hail of arrows" video. Like in 300 or similar.

Wednesday people get brutalized

I think I may be able to actually use the Xbox d-pad for this thing and sell my fight stick. At least, trying out both of them there was not a clear winner to me.

Ohhh man! Game comes out tomorrow. I've never done a midnight release for a game before, but Gamestop calledme to tell me that I could pick up my preorder at midnight tonight and that they'd be doing a tournament with a 25 cash prize. I don't work until 2pm and the place I just moved to is only a few blocks from Gamestop, so I think I might actually pick it up tonight and dick around at the tournament (i wont win, but it'll be fun).


I'm still bummed to hear you can't unlock all the skins unless you have an Apple. I really wanted Knightfall Bane, Batman Beyond and the new 52 GL and Flash skins.

They didn't say when we'll be able to download the character, but my best guess is another month or two.

Got it! Liking it so far. The controls don't feel perfect to me, but I can overlook that based on the presentation.

Anyone wants to fight, look for SH0KWAV on XBL. that's a zero, FYI.

I only played for about an hour or so, but ohhhh man.... I forgot how bad I really was at fighting games. I'm getting my ### kicked pretty bad by the computer just by playing on normal (or whatever the middle setting is). Whenever I try using quarter circle or half circle moves, I just end up crouching or jumping and not actually nailing it (and yes I did change the controls to use circle moves instead of straight directions because I find that even harder). Oh well, all I can do is hope to get better. This game looks too awesome to not keep going.

So far, Aquaman, Hawkgirl and Captain Marvel seem to be my best characters (in that order). I was really wanting to be Flash and Sinestro, but I just can't seem to get the hang of them.


Also gotta say, people playing online are REALLY good. I doubt I'll ever win a ranked match online to unlock the Yellow Lantern skin. Bums.

The game is amazing. I'm about to crack the top 100 on Xbox live. Sinestro is ridiculous right now at keeping them away from you. He hurts if they get in close but that's pretty hard to do. I'm having a blast.
