Next product from WK Poo Clix. That's right, they have realized that as long as they stick "clix" on the end of it, you will buy it so they have been busy saving and shalacking their feces and putting it on a clix base just for you. Not only that, they have been saving each turd they gather when they walk their dogs. Each piece is a unique sculpture in itself lovingly created by their sphincters...
There is epic irony in a show about a card game becoming a miniatures game.
Yu-Gi-Oh Dungeon Dice Monsters had a Japanese game, English Game, had a videogame translation, was featured heavily in the manga, was in the anime, and had it's primary antagonist become one of the supporting protagonists in the series.
Monsters would be summoned by rolling dice, and those dice would unfold to become actual pieces of the game board. It is part luck, part maze/path building, part traditional minis. The Japanese version and the videogame were pretty darn neat.

if they JUST make the "monsters" like Dark Magician, the Dragons (wouldn't they be colossals though?) Kuribo... I mght be okay with it. there were some interestingly designed characters.
if they try to work some new game mechanic and cards game besides it... i dunno...
Contrary to popular belief, I do know what I'm doing

If one of those turds has the exact same dial as Metron and is modern legal, I'm game.

And also I highly doubt Yu-Gi-Oh paid squat...you can be certain money changed hands in the other direction.

I mean, I'm glad they're all for expanding their product line but I fear that if they branch out too far they'll be losing more money then they'll be getting back from their other, more popular franchises.
I never cared for Yu Gi Oh (was more of a Pokemon guy myself) but I'm sure someone may be interested. Then again, I didn't exactly see those World of Warcraft Miniatures flying off the shelves.
And space is shaped like this! (folds magazine into an "S" shape)
Too close to the HK announcement. Shark. Jumped. Money grab city. But not mine. Glad Target Hulk and TabApp Supes were made before this. I will find it difficult to give WK any of my money from now on. Too bad. I was looking forward to Mage Knight.

This. Especially considering Konami and Upper Deck's fallout is not unlike Topps and Wizkids.
I also agree with everyone else's sentiment about the hesitation toward bringing the Yugioh player community (a negative experience) into the HeroClix community.
Yeah I don't really care about all these new licenses but I do care about all the annoying kids this one will bring in. That's why I've never played Yu-Gi-Oh in the first place to avoid that.
And how to they make a miniature game based off a cartoon where they play a card game?
"There's a guy standing there with some cards in his hand having a twenty minute flashback about his favorite card before he actually puts it down. Mary Jane ##### slaps him. His wonky hair pokes her in the eye as his head spins around. Both characters are KOed."
Does that answer your question?
As to the first part, I wouldn't worry. This is going to crash and burn. The You-Go-Blow! crowd doesn't have the patience for Clix. This will not get them to play Clix, and most Clix players won't touch it.
