I figured this game would have ended by now. Since we're trying to make this a series and this game is drawing out I'm willing to give in. I am enjoying it, mind you...

Thing on Amora. Bag-Man makes his damage 4. Somehow he's no longer basing her but he did on his last move. In fact both are not showing their correct placements. SC is 1. Needs 7, rolls 10. Doom makes it 9. That's 5 to her with the lo for a ko, 1 to Thing.

Ouch. Meant to save Bag-Man's for Crystal. She can't break Doom's invulnerable without it.

Why would you give in when you've got five figures against Doom? Who can't KO anyone without healing the rest, and who has Bag-Man's stupid retaliatory damage power to contend with?

The only reason I haven't used the retreat option we talked about is because I decided it would be wiser to save that for when I'm in danger of losing my second game in a row. If anyone should concede this one, it's me.

Doom Pulse Waves again. Rolls 7 PCs it to 4.

If anything I'm the one that should be conceding here.

You misunderstand what I'm saying, I'm saying I'm willing to call this one a draw, chalking it up to understanding the game.

Before I go on, with a possible loss, let me know what you think. I want to give this series a fair shot.

Okay, let's say this one's a draw. I had missed a couple of the early rolls, and didn't assign Doom his PC power as leader for several turns either, so maybe that would have swung things a little more my way. I don't know though, that was a really solid team you had. Excellent choice going back to the old CT Sue. You've shown that figure still has a place in the game, even now.

Agreed on Sue and yeah, I think it took so a bit to get into the swing of the game.

I threw in Fatality for tk and to make it 400; if you can get a team to around 360, I would go a Mandroid instead.

"Victor, I think our best bet is to withdraw," the Enchantress says.

"You bet it is, toots," the Thing says.

"It is not the way of Victor Von Doom!".

"Perhaps not but it is the right way," the Enchantress says as she casts a spell, "Forget!". Then she and Dr. Doom disappear.

"What...what's happening?" Johnny asks, "My head's kinda foggy."

The Thing slams him on the back, "Status quo, kiddo. We're celebrating your birthday. If this were the age you act, it'd be yer 12th birthday."

The Torch hits him with a fireball.

"Here we go again," Susan says, forgetting all that transpired before.

Doom watches from another place. "I am not done. I will conquer the world and rid them of superheroes. This I swear!".

Okay, cheap TK is not a bad suggestions, but to add a Mandroid, I'd have to swap out my Hydra generics, which I haven't even used yet. I'll use the opportunity instead to swap out Mirror Master for another Rogue, Dr. Alchemy. Much more useful figure.
