I'd give him 'til Monday, too; maybe the dude had a legitimate "Come-to-Jesus" moment and he will be a model trader going forward? Now, where did I put my teal marker?
His numerous "come-to-Jesus" moments have coincided pretty closely with me telling people how to get in touch with his friends and relatives. No deal should reach a point where "Send figs, or we'll rat you out to your grandma" is a threat that has to be made. Personally, I can't understand why he hasn't been IP banned. This is (at least) his third account, and he has used every one to attempt to rip people off.

Yep, that was why I was looking for my teal/sarcasm marker!
This creep definitely deserves whatever banning we can do, including a very public posting of his name (including any aliases) and all known shipping addresses.
However, as scammers can always find new addresses/names/e-mail addresses/IP addresses to use, we really need to STRONGLY encourage new users to make use of 3rd Party Traders, especially in ANY high value trade with members with low ratings.
I too have received a tracking number. I'm going to tape myself opening it so if it is empty or poop or a bomb or something at least there will be a record of it.
I will be in touch. Unless it's a bomb. Then I'll use my claw hook hands to type out what happened after I get home from the hospital.

I can answer that. Each time, he has "moved".
I would like there to be a traders need to give names and addresses or else they can't use the maketplace but Typhon is not a fan of that due to the responsibility of that type of information.

It's really easy to run your IP address through a proxy or code an IP changer. The sophisticated part comes in when you don't want to get caught by someone that knows what they're doing. Circumventing a fan site though, that takes almost 0 effort. Until he's actually charged and assessed a penalty for committing mail fraud he'll continue to operate as per usual.
I understand Typhon's hesitation to release personal information in a public forum, but phant is right, it makes it easy to avoid accountability. On the other hand though, this guy has had his name, phone number, physical and email address made known to a number of people that he wronged. Those are also all the people he should worry about wishing him harm. There's not a lot left to protect. It would however at the least force him to find new locations to ship to. If his info was listed on a "do not trade" list somewhere. It wouldn't even require names, just the known shipping destinations of deals gone bad, it'd definitely complicate their work a bit.
I spoiled SLoSH and all I got was called a "dink", and this lousy signature.
Unfortunately it seems I too have become a victim now >_>
I think we need shirts that say "I traded with Mark and all I got was this shirt, and an a crash course in mail fraud litigation." I'm open to catchier slogans.

On the back it can say:
Proud Member of the Bobcat2022 aka "Scammer-Bane" Posse!! Next Time We Use 3rd Party Traders!!
Start filing fraud charges. Every message saying he's shipped but unable to provide tracking is just another way to jack you around a little longer. Everyone here's patience should be long gone by now.
I don't donate and I use adblock. I guess that makes me a thief?
