What's the draft path for Phoenix (Rachel) now?

Being away for so long means that I'm really out of the loop on some figs. Do you have to start with the big shot 145 PT EXP version?

The rules say that "All characters must begin at one of two versions:
a) the lowest costed pre-carded version
b) the lowest costed carded version."

Based on that, you can either choose ul093 Phoenix for 86 points or wxm045 Phoenix for 154 points.

Where does the DoFP Rachel Summers fall in?

She would be the lowest costed carded version, no?

DOFP is a movie set, and thus has a different progression. Rachel is under her own name there instead of Phoenix.

Actually, it isn't. DoFP is very specifically NOT a movie set (because Wizkids doesn't have the rights to movies made by Fox), but rather a set focused on the original Days of Future Past comic storyline.

The trait on DoFP Rachel is throwing me off. I want to say that yes, DoFP would come first. (Wikipedia says that Rachel came from DoFP first, then she invaded the Hellfire Club, which would explain ul093 Phoenix's keywords.)

Just asking for clarity, should Rachel from DOFP be part of the progression for the Hound and the Phoenix from the Ultimates set? The alternate timeline stuff with the mutants always throws me off.

Cheapest carded version of Rachel Summers is the DoFP version, yes.

Cheapest non-carded would be the unique from Ultimates.

Other figures in her progression would be WatXM Phoenix and.... Hound

Well.. I didn't know that. It's noted as DOFP, meaning it was thought to be a movie set. I'll make the modification if it is deemed necessary.

Normally, we'd consider the "future" DoFP characters to be in their own progression, separate from the main 616 characters since they're from an alternate time-line.

Rachel, however, IS the same character across all her versions (through an incredibly convoluted and retcon-rife sequence of events).

For the characters who have the {DOFP} note next to them, that's meant to indicated the alternate timeline of the story, not that it was a movie version. We normally separate alternate timeline versions of characters when it's clearly not the mainstream version of them, such as Magneto in the wheelchair.

And the SHIELD troops that have CAWS? Are they an alternate timeline, or movie?
